WWE Hall of Famer Bob Uecker passes away

Former MLB sportscaster Bob Uecker has passed away at the age of 90, as reported by the Milwaukee Brewers on social media.

Uecker served as the primary broadcaster for the Milwaukee franchise for 54 seasons, following a career as a catcher for the Braves, Cardinals, and the Phillies.

His personality and renown brought him to the world of professional wrestling with memorable appearances at two of WWE’s most iconic events, serving as special guest ring announcer for the Hulk Hogan-Andre the Giant bout at WrestleMania III and finding himself across the stage from Andre himself at WrestleMania IV.

The man nicknamed “Mr. Baseball” for his impression on the sport was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2001, and the WWE Hall of Fame in 2010.

Wrestleview extends its condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Bob Uecker.
