And now, it’s time for the world to end…live on pay-per-view! It’s time…for AEW Worlds End!

Commentary welcomes us to the show, as Will Ospreay makes his way to the ring for our opening contest, the first of our semi-final matches for the Continental Classic! Kyle Fletcher is out next, accompanied briefly by Don Callis who whispers something in his ear before heading to the back. We’re reminded that the semi-finals will see no time limit, there must be a winner…and this match between former friends is underway!

AEW Continental Classic Semi-Final: Kyle Fletcher vs. Will Ospreay

Ospreay fends off an early attack by Fletcher, rolling him up to no avail. Oscutter attempt is blocked, but so too is a brainbuster before Ospreay forces Fletcher to the outside for a breather. Ospreay gives Kyle some time to finally get back into the ring, and Fletcher takes advantage of this to send Will to the corner for some chops. Ospreay fights out of the corner but is soon taken to the ropes by Fletcher…who gets caught with a clothesline sending him over the rope to the outside. Ospreay doesn’t get to hit a springboard dive on Kyle, but does get a running senton off the apron instead!

The ref begins the count as both men get to their feet, with Kyle sending Ospreay toward the steel steps…but Will leaps over for the save. He jumps off the steps for a headscissors, but is driven into the apron by Fletcher instead as he goes in the ring to break the count. With his former friend still down, Kyle jumps onto the apron…but instead of going on the attack again, he mocks the crowd by tearing a sign and letting them know what he thinks of their disapproval. He jumps off the apron to break the count once more, and then brings Ospreay back into the ring for another wave of offense.

He stands Ospreay up for a set of kicks to the face, further busting Will open and then mocking the crowd some more before sending Ospreay to the corner for some mounted punches…until Ospreay slips out of the corner, setting up for an Oscutter–only to be driven face-first into the turnbuckle by Fletcher for his efforts!

Ospreay is donning a crimson mask now, causing enough concern for Doc Sampson to try and intervene…but the match goes on as Ospreay tries his best to fight back despite the blood getting in his eyes, hitting a standing Skytwister Press for the cover for a two count before Kyle kicks out. Fletcher gets to his feet, sending Ospreay away–but Will counters with a Stundog Millionaire! Oscutter is blocked once again as Fletcher sends Will to the ropes, only for Ospreay to hit a running Spanish Fly for another close nearfall.

Ospreay is back on his feet for a kick on Fletcher, who retaliates with a chop to the chest. Ospreay responds with a chop of his own, leading to a dangerous exchange between both men until Fletcher is sent down to the ropes. Fletcher goes for a thrust kick but Will blocks it, setting up for a powerbomb…but Fletcher escapes, sending Ospreay to the ropes–and takes an Oscutter by the Aerial Assassin! Cover by Ospreay, but it’s only a two count!

Ospreay misses a Hidden Blade but catches Fletcher with a poison rana…and Fletcher responds with a Hidden Blade of his own! Both men struggle to build a vertical base, trading headbutts as they slowly make it back to their feet. Each man hits the ropes for extra momentum on the headbutts now, only for Fletcher to catch a thrust kick by Ospreay that sends him down hard to the canvas.

Ospreay charges at Fletcher, who rolls him up and gets a grip on the ropes…but the ref catches him, stopping the count to give out over the shortcut! Fletcher argues with the ref, leading to a Hidden Blade by Ospreay…but it’s only good for a nearfall! Fletcher catches him twice after this, but not even a brainbuster and an elevated Liger Bomb are enough to keep Ospreay down as he kicks out each time.

Ospreay heads to the corner to get back to his feet, with Fletcher looking for another brainbuster…but the Aerial Assassin gets out of it, hitting Kyle with the Styles Clash that gets him the win to advance to the finals!

Winner via pinfall (and advancing to the Continental Classic Finals): Will Ospreay

Ospreay celebrates, telling Fletcher they’re 1-1 before heading up the ramp and to the back.

Video Package: Ricochet facing something of a change in attitude as he progresses through the Continental Classic, as he faces the reigning AEW Continental Champion in Kazuchika Okada, a man with an impressive tournament resume of his own!

Back at ringside, Ricochet makes his way out for our next match. He gets a good look at the AEW Continental Championship, a title he looks to win by overcoming the champion in this semi-final and the finals later tonight. Ricochet enters the ring as the coin drop signals the arrival of Kazuchika Okada. The man they call the Rainmaker brings out the Okada Bucks for this entrance, as he heads down the ramp toward the ring to get this match underway!

AEW Continental Classic Semi-Final: Kazuchika Okada vs. Ricochet

The two circle the mat before locking up, with Okada being sent to the corner before the ref intervenes. They lock up again, with Ricochet facing the same fate as Okada pulls his ear before the ref intervenes once more. Ricochet sends Okada to the ropes to no avail, but catches the champ with a headscissors followed by a dropkick that sends Okada to the outside. Ricochet heads to the ropes for a dive, but the champ slides into the ring and hits him with a boot sending the Gold League winner to the mat.

Okada maintains control as he sends Ricochet to the corner for some strikes, and the crowd reminds Ricochet of his hair situation before Okada silences them, hitting the ropes to tease a dropkick…only to slap Ricochet on the back of his head! Ricochet rubs the spot that was struck, trying to get back into the match…and he does by catching the champ on the ropes, forcing him to the floor outside before hitting a big dive on Okada.

He taunts the crowd as the ref begins the count, only for Okada to be brought back into the ring as Ricochet goes back on the attack for a nearfall. He continues stomping away at the champ as the crowd sings him a song, something that riles Ricochet enough to go for a submission hold on Okada. The champ gets him on his shoulders for a nearfall that breaks the hold, but Ricochet responds with a shoulder attack to keep Okada grounded.

He continues to mock the crowd, running down “the great Okada” who stares Ricochet down as he builds back to a vertical base. Ricochet hits a couple chops on the champ, who rises to his feet with a grimace before returning the favor with some strikes. He heads to the corner, fending off a dropkick attempt before hoisting Ricochet up for a big slam that sends him to the canvas. Both men back up as Okada hits a couple forearm strikes, and takes Ricochet to the corner for a big boot on route to a nearfall.

Ricochet manages to build momentum now, taking to the ropes for a nearfall before hitting a standing shooting star press…but this gets the same result as Okada kicks out. Ricochet heads up top for a 450 splash but Okada rolls out of the way…only for Ricochet to roll to his feet. This only sets him up for failure, however, as Okada hits a shoulderbreaker!

Now it’s the champ going up top, hitting a big elbow drop on Ricochet before rising to his feet…flipping him off for a Rainmaker lariat! Ricochet escapes, but so too does Okada. He evades another and sends Ricochet to the ropes for a dropkick! Okada looking for a tombstone piledriver, but Ricochet hits Vertigo for a nearfall instead. Ricochet goes up top, nailing the champ with a shooting star press…but Okada manages to kick out once more to stay in the match! Ricochet goes to the corner for a Spirit Gun, but Okada catches him and both men drop to the mat as the ref begins the standing ten count.

Ricochet takes the champ down, looking for a Spirit Gun…but Okada catches him, setting up a Rainmaker lariat that gets him the win to advance to the finals!

Winner via pinfall (and advancing to the Continental Classic Finals): Kazuchika Okada

Okada celebrates before leaving the ring, as he is set to face Will Ospreay in the finals later tonight. Ricochet is greeted with a toilet paper roll before Swerve Strickland makes his way out to the stage. Strickland has a mic in hand, congratulating Ricochet for making it as far as Swerve did last year…but he remembers Ricochet said he would win the Continental Classic.

Swerve says that he would embarrass Ricochet if he lost, and here we are. He runs down Ricochet talking all this trash the past few weeks, and you know the best way to clean up a mess? Prince Nana comes down the ramp with a cart full of toilet paper. Nana goes around the ringside area, handing toilet paper rolls to the front row as Swerve says we’re going to forget about 2024 and look forward to a clean slate in 2025…and in the process, we’re going to wish Ricochet a Happy New Year! On the count of three, the crowd obliges, throwing the rolls at Ricochet as Strickland wishes him a happy new year. Ricochet is seething here, draped in toilet paper as commentary talks up the Continental Classic Finals.

We head backstage where Renee talks to Will Ospreay about making it to the finals of the Continental Classic, noting that he stands across the ring from Okada to see who wins the tournament and the title. Ospreay hypes up Okada’s career and notes him as a mentor, but promises to beat Okada to win the Classic and the championship…and then he’s going to Disney World! He hypes the crowd up before walking off as we cut away.

Video Package: The issues between Thunder Rosa and Mariah May culminate in this Tijuana Street Fight for the AEW Women’s World Championship, tonight at Worlds End!

Back at ringside, the stage is set up for our next contest as Thunder Rosa makes her way to the ring, giving some love to her father on the way. Out next is the champ as Mariah May heads to ringside, mocking Papa Rosa…and this riles up the challenger who gets the drop on May as this match gets underway!

AEW Women’s World Championship Tijuana Street Fight Match: Mariah May (c) defends against Thunder Rosa

Rosa brings the champ back into the ring, hitting the ropes for a senton that gets a nearfall. Rosa stays on the attack, propping Mariah up against the ropes for a dropkick before pulling the champ in for another nearfall. The challenger gives May a stomp before leaving the ring, pulling out a variety of weapons from under the apron before sending a trash can into the ring. Mariah leaves the ring for some respite, but Rosa gives chase up the ramp…until Mariah hits a DDT sending the challenger on the stage for a nearfall.

May heads off, grabbing a bottle of tequila that she takes a drink of before spitting it in Rosa’s face…and this gets under the skin of the challenger, who drives May through one of the painted boards with a spear! Rosa grabs a trash can from nearby, but Mariah slams it against her elbow forcing Thunder to walk away.

May goes after her challenger, who has an object of some sort (possibly a bottle?) that she smashes over the champ’s head, but that’s only good for a two count. Rosa brings the champ back into the ring now, setting May up in the corner for some kicks before throwing her by the hair into a stack of chairs. She yells at Mariah about her recent remarks as she attacks the champ with a chair, but May fights back to hit a running knee for a nearfall.

Rosa fights back, sending Mariah down hard for a nearfall of her own before grabbing a nearby pinata. She busts it open, revealing not candy but thumbtacks that spill onto the canvas. Rosa hits a stomp on the champ before bringing her up for a package piledriver…but Mariah counters with a Mayday sending Rosa onto the tacks! She goes for the cover, but the challenger manages to kick out!

Both women come out of the ring as May sends Rosa to the steel steps. She approaches Papa Rosa, stealing his cane to make fun of the elder before turning her attention back to Thunder…who fights back, sending the champ into the barricade before grabbing her father’s cane to strike back at Mariah. She sends May into the ring apron now, forcing her to the floor before pulling a table out from under the ring.

The table is half propped up as Rosa brings May to her feet…and then uses the table as a launchpad for a dropkick sending the champ back to the floor! She brings Mariah back into the ring, grabbing the chain to wrap around the neck of the champ. The ref checks on May, who refuses to give up before Rosa drops the chain and grabs a chair instead. She sets it up on the mat before slamming the face of Mariah onto it, going back to the chain as she tries to choke the champ out…but Mariah grabs a nearby bag, grabbing a handful of that dirt we heard about during Zero Hour from the graveyards of Tijuana!

She throws the dirt into the face of the challenger, blinding Rosa long enough to connect with a piledriver off the apron and through a table…and that will do it as Mariah May picks up the win to retain the title!

Winner via pinfall and still AEW Women’s World Champion: Mariah May

May heads up the ramp, celebrating her win as we get an ad spot for Draft Kings.

Video Package: A feud that has been on ice since last year’s Worlds End, things come to a a head tonight as MJF faces Adam Cole with the Dynamite Diamond Ring on the line!

Back at ringside, MJF makes his way out for our next match. He enters the ring as we get a glimpse of Undisputed Kingdom at ringside, before Adam Cole heads to the ring next…and this match gets underway!

Dynamite Diamond Ring Match: MJF vs. Adam Cole

Cole charges at Friedman, who immediately rolls out of the ring as he says they’re on his time…but Adam insists that’s not the case as he gets the drop on MJF, bringing him back into the ring. He looks for a Panama Sunrise but MJF rolls out of the ring again…this time luring Cole into a trap as he pulls him into the ring steps!

The crowd chants “he’s our scumbag” but Max says if he needed their help he’d ask them, going after Cole once more before mouthing off with one of the fans. He brings Cole back into the ring, mocking Adam’s taunt and flipping the crowd off before mocking Cole some more with a pushup and a forearm strike. Cole is now officially busted up, something MJF attacks even further before cinching in a chinlock.

Max seems riled as he yells at the crowd, and this gives Cole a brief opening to strike back before MJF hits a powerbomb into a backbreaker sending Adam to the mat. Max goes up top for a “Long Island” Sunrise, but Cole fights him off before hitting a knee and an enziguri, followed by a Backstabber and a brainbuster onto the knee for a two count.

Cole goes up for a Panama Sunrise, but hyperextends his knee on the landing when MJF evades it, and this gives Max a target he goes after immediately. He brings Cole to the corner where he focuses his attack on the knee until the ref intervenes…only to send Cole across the ring with a hammer throw! Cole goes down hard as Max mocks the crowd, leaving the ring to slam Cole’s leg against the ring post. MJF mocks a couple men in the front row before heading back to the ring, breaking the count before mocking the crowd some more. He looks to attack the leg one more time, but Cole pulls him into the ring post!

Max drops to the floor, revealing a busted-open forehead when he gets back to his feet and in the ring. Cole unleashes a flurry of offense, sending MJF into the corner for some mounted punches. He gets the crowd pumped, and then takes a bite out of MJF…before connecting with a Panama Sunrise! He follows up with the Boom, and the cover…but MJF manages to kick out just before three!

Cole looks for another Boom but Max drops to the mat, only for Cole to bring him back up…but gets intercepted with something of a chop block by MJF, taking Cole down! Both men are forced to use the ropes to get to their feet, Max saying he always hated Cole before the two men charge at each other with strikes. Cole looks to finish things but is sent down by MJF, who sets up a Figure Four Leglock in the middle of the ring!

Cole refuses to tap out, but he drops to his back forcing a pin attempt before he gets back up…and eventually turns the hold around on MJF, reversing the pressure! Max looks like he may tap out, but instead reaches out for the bottom rope to force a break.

MJF leaves the ring, looking for his next strategy as the Undisputed Kingdom mock him…and this gives him a brilliant idea, as he lightly smacks himself on the steel steps to get the ref’s attention as he drops to the floor! The ref assumes that the Kingdom had something to do with this, ejecting them from ringside as Max grabs the Dynamite Diamond Ring and gets back in the ring…but before he can use it, Cole grabs it from his hand!

Cole looks to use the ring on MJF, who counters with a low blow before propping him up on the ropes for a Heat Seeker that gets him the win to retain the Dynamite Diamond Ring!

Winner via pinfall (and still holder of the Dynamite Diamond Ring): MJF

MJF gloats as he grabs a chair from ringside. He promises to break Adam Cole’s leg, but Roderick Strong comes out to make the save! MJF runs away from him as Kyle O’Reilly comes out, and Max tries to reason with him before leaving toward the back, but Kyle blindsides him before bringing MJF back to the ring instead.

He and Strong hit a Total Elimination on Friedman, before setting him up for Cole to knock him out with the Dynamite Diamond Ring. Cole drops the ring on MJF’s chest before the Undisputed Kingdom hug it out in the ring, making their exit up the ramp.

Video Package: The Mother of All Simulcasts is upon us to ring in the new year…AEW Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen LIVE on TBS and Max!

Commentary hypes up the card for AEW Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen and the subsequent Collision, both shows being simulcast on Max as well as TBS and TNT, respectively.

Video Package: Powerhouse Hobbs seeks revenge on the Don Callis Family as he goes after Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW International Championship here at Worlds End!

Back at ringside, Powerhouse Hobbs makes his entrance for our next match. Out next is Konosuke Takeshita accompanied briefly by Don Callis, the latter joining commentary as this match for the International Championship gets underway!

AEW International Championship Match: Konosuke Takeshita (c) defends against Powerhouse Hobbs

Hobbs gets the upper hand on the champ, sending him out of the ring to make Callis watch as he lays into Takeshita. Hobbs brings him back up, hoisting him onto the ring apron as a display of power especially for the man who betrayed him. Takeshita fights back, however, bringing Hobbs onto his shoulders before driving his knee onto the hardest part of the ring. Callis is pleased by this as the ref checks on Hobbs, but the Alpha brings him to the apron and then back into the ring.

Takeshita continues the attack here, eventually sending the Powerhouse’s leg into the mat for more damage. Hobbs is favoring his leg as Takeshita goes back after it, pulling away on it against the ropes before the ref intervenes. The action heads to the apron now, with the champ bringing his challenger in the hard way. He sends Hobbs to the ropes, but the Powerhouse connects with a cross body that takes the champ to the mat!

Crowd chants “MEAT” as Hobbs goes back on the attack, sending the champ to the corner for a set of lariats. He brings Takeshita up, driving him down for a powerslam that gets a two count. Hobbs is still favoring his knee here as he rolls to the ropes for leverage, getting back to his feet…as does the champ, just as Hobbs sends him to the ropes. Konosuke fights back now, catching the challenger with a modified tombstone piledriver. Cover by the champ, but Hobbs stays in this by kicking out at two.

Both men are on their feet, chants of “MEAT” ringing out as they trade strikes before Takeshita sends Hobbs down with a German suplex. Hobbs blocks a Power Drive Knee before taking a kick to the head…only to catch the champ with another powerslam, and a massive running lariat that sends Konosuke to the canvas. Cover by Hobbs, but the champ kicks out to keep in it!

Takeshita is brought to his feet by the challenger, but counters into a Blue Thunder Bomb and the cover…but Hobbs kicks out at one! Callis can’t believe it as Hobbs heads to the top turnbuckle. Takeshita intercepts as the two go at it on the top turnbuckle…before Hobbs drops, the knee seemingly giving out on him. The ref checks on him as Takeshita gets back to his feet, only for Hobbs to start fighting back amidst “please be careful” chants…that are met with a superplex by the champ! Hobbs is down as Takeshita goes up top again, this time for a senton. He heads to the corner as Hobbs slowly gets up…and counters a Power Drive Knee with a spinebuster, sending the champ into the mat!

Cover by Hobbs, but the champ narrowly kicks out! Hobbs drops his straps before bringing Takeshita to the corner. Konosuke fights back as they get back to the top turnbuckle…where Hobbs drops the Alpha with an avalanche powerslam! Takeshita rolls away for a breather as Hobbs takes his knee brace off to relieve the pressure. He’s limping on his leg, however, and this gives the champ an opening for a big elbow strike followed by a knee. Front guillotine is locked in as Hobbs appears to be fading…and the champ finishes things with the Raging Fire for the win to retain his title!

Winner via pinfall and still AEW International Champion: Konosuke Takeshita

Callis comes to the ring to celebrate with his charge, the pair leaving the ring and heading up the ramp with the title.

Backstage, we hear from Okada ahead of the Continental Classic finals. He calls Ospreay his younger, little brother of sorts, saying he’s on another level…but not HIS level. He walks off as we cut away.

Video Package: Kris Statlander’s redemption journey brings her back in the crosshairs of a very game Mercedes Moné in this TBS Championship match at Worlds End!

Back at ringside, Kris Statlander heads out for our next match. This is followed by the arrival of Mercedes Moné to the ring, and we get ring introductions for both women before this TBS Championship match gets underway!

AEW TBS Championship Match: Mercedes Moné (c) defends against Kris Statlander

The two women circle the mat before locking up, with Statlander shoving the champion away toward the corner. Mercedes gets back on her feet, catching Kris with a side headlock before being sent to the ropes for a shoulder tackle by the challenger. Moné goes for a headscissors, but Statlander is back up and takes the fight back to Mercedes. Champ goes to the ropes but is hoisted onto Statlander’s shoulders, only to escape the grip and send her to the outside. Moné mocks her challenger as she goes back on the attack, sending Kris into the steps and then the barricade…where she hits a double knee strike, before stepping onto the barricade itself. Statlander catches her in mid-air however, bringing her to the ring apron before dropping her down hard, bringing the champ back into the ring for a nearfall.

Statlander continues the power game here, until Moné escapes a vertical suplex…only to be slammed by Statlander, who lifts the champ up once more for a fall away slam. Moné is in the corner as Kris brings her up to the top turnbuckle, but the champ fights back before catching Statlander with a powerbomb…sending the challenger onto the hardest part of the ring in the process! Moné gets back in the ring before bringing Statlander in for a nearfall.

Moné stays in control sending Kris into the corner for a double knee, but still only gets a two count. Both women on their feet as Statlander fights out of the corner with a lariat, but Mercedes responds with a Backstabber for a close nearfall. Moné is back up, grabbing the arms of her challenger for a straightjacket hold into another Backstabber, and a second one at that, before driving her knees into the back of Statlander on the canvas.

Kris fights to her feet, sending the champ into the corner…but Moné pulls her to the mat by her hair before climbing the turnbuckle. She leaps off for a Meteora, but Kris catches her with something of a powerbomb instead! Statlander still hurting from the apron powerbomb earlier as both women are down. Champ is up and so is the challenger, who lays into Moné with a couple lariats followed by a hammer throw sending Mercedes into the corner. She charges at the champ, following with a deadlift German suplex that gets her a close nearfall.

Statlander back on her feet, powering the champ down with a Michinoku Driver and the cover…but the champ kicks out once again! Kris brings Moné to the corner, propping her up on the top turnbuckle for a chop…but the champ fights back, sending Statlander into the middle turnbuckle before hitting a tornado DDT for the cover and a two count.

Moné is back on her feet, bringing Statlander up for a Three Amigos…and then another set for good measure, as the crowd shows their approval for the extra effort. A nod to Eddie Guerrero here as Mercedes pulls Kris to the corner before climbing up top for a frog splash. Cover by Moné, but Statlander manages to kick out at two once again!

Statlander in the corner as Mercedes goes for a running double knee…but the challenger narrowly evades it! She sets the champ up for a package piledriver that could take out a champion elsewhere, but here it only gets a two count before Moné kicks out! Mercedes back up as she hits a trio of jawbreakers on the challenger, who responds with a right cross sending Moné to the ropes. This leads to the two trading strikes…and the action spills to the outside, with the ring apron falling off in the process. Mercedes catches Statlander with a Moné Maker, and both women are out as the ref begins the count.

Mercedes makes it back in at the count of six, and the count reaches nine as Kris can’t seem to get up…but the champ doesn’t want this match over yet, sliding out to break the count! At least, it seemed that way until we see her trap the foot of Statlander on a cable under the ring for the count to restart…but once again, Moné seems flustered as she leaves the ring for more offense on her challenger.

This forces the ref to intervene as Mercedes gets back in the ring, while Statlander unties her boot to finally get out of her predicament. Moné goes for a Meteora off the apron, but is slammed hard by the challenger to the apron instead. She brings the champ back into the ring for an F5 of sorts and the cover…but Moné narrowly gets a shoulder up before three.

Statlander climbs the turnbuckle but is cut off by Mercedes, who drives Statlander headfirst onto the apron with a tombstone piledriver forcing the challenger to the floor. The ref checks on Statlander before starting the count once more as Moné starts to celebrate her countout win…which doesn’t come, as Statlander leaps into the ring at the last second!

Mercedes is angry as she sets Statlander up for the Statement Maker, pulling up on the neck of her challenger. Kris crawls to the ropes but is pulled back into the middle of the ring for a modified STF by the champion…but Kris manages to grab the rope for the break!

Moné is beside herself at this point, struggling to find the way to keep Kris down as she yells at the challenger before hitting a slap. Mercedes hits the ropes, but is intercepted by Statlander…only to counter out of Staturday Night Fever, cinching in an ankle lock! Statlander escapes, getting a nearfall in the process before the two trade pin attempts…until the champ catches Kris with a pinning combination she can’t escape, giving Moné the win to retain the TBS Championship!

Winner via pinfall and still TBS Champion: Mercedes Moné

Moné grabs her titles and heads up the ramp to celebrate the win tonight, while back in the ring the crowd shows their approval for the effort given by Kris Statlander.

We get a quick word from RJ City and Renee Paquette on behalf of Draft Kings, followed by a video hyping up AEW Revolution from Los Angeles.

Back at ringside, Will Ospreay makes his way to the ring for our next match as we will find out who wins this year’s Continental Classic. Out next is Kazuchika Okada, looking at his AEW Continental Championship which is on the line in this match, as the Rainmaker makes his way to the ring. We get introductions for both men, and this match gets underway!

AEW Continental Classic Finals: Will Ospreay vs. Kazuchika Okada

The crowd is electric for this bout as the men circle the mat before locking up, with Ospreay sent to the ropes by the champion as the ref intervenes. Okada gives a clean break…for a second, before hitting Ospreay with a forearm strike. Will fights back with some forearm strikes before sending Okada to the corner, eventually taking the champ down with a headscissors forcing him to the outside…where Ospreay follows up with a big dive sending him to the floor! Ref begins the count as Ospreay gets to his feet, bringing Okada around to the barricade for some uppercuts before entering the ring to break the count.

Okada turns things around by sending Ospreay toward the barricade, but Will jumps onto it instead and goes for a dive onto the champ…who counters with a DDT sending Ospreay headfirst onto the floor. Ref count reaches four as Okada breaks it up, draping Ospreay on the apron for a DDT onto the floor despite the ref trying to stop him verbally.

Okada brings Ospreay back into the ring, taking him down once more but only getting a nearfall for his efforts. Ospreay slowly gets to his feet, trading strikes with the champion who responds with a neckbreaker sending Will to the mat. The ref checks on Ospreay as Okada mocks him with one of his bloodied gauze pads. Ospreay makes it back up, catching the champ by surprise with a suplex that gets him slowly back into the match.

Ospreay stays on the attack, all the while trying to work himself back up as he goes for a Hidden Blade…but the champ drops him to the mat instead, keeping him at bay! Okada stays on top of this, eventually sending Ospreay out of the ring with a grin on his face before leaving the ring to attack the knee. The ref begins the count, but Okada quickly breaks it up before going for a tombstone piledriver…but Ospreay escapes, sending the champ to the barricade for a thrust kick followed by an Oscutter off the barricade!

Ospreay gets back in the ring as the ref begins the count anew, with Okada getting to his feet and sliding into the ring just in the nick of time…only to be attacked by Ospreay, who hits another Oscutter for the cover and a nearfall. He brings Okada up for some kicks to the face, followed by a knee strike…only for the champ to hoist him up for a neckbreaker onto the knee, sending Ospreay to the mat. Okada goes up top for an elbow drop, flipping off the crowd for the second time tonight as he points it to Ospreay before setting up for the Rainmaker lariat…but Ospreay escapes it, only for Okada to send him into the corner with a dropkick! Ospreay fights back, but is sent down with another dropkick!

Okada looks for a Rainmaker but Ospreay counters, hitting the champion with a Styles Clash and the cover…but unlike the semi-final, the move is only good for a nearfall as Okada kicks out! Okada manages to catch Ospreay with the Rainmaker lariat and a cover of his own…but this time it’s Ospreay who kicks out!

Okada is shocked at this, but goes back to work looking for another one on Ospreay who fights back to his feet. Both men are up, but Ospreay is shaky as a right hand by Okada sends him back to the canvas. Okada lays in some more kicks and a headbutt, the latter busting Ospreay open again as he gets to his feet…only to be taken down with a German suplex by the champ! Okada goes for another Rainmaker lariat, but Ospreay catches him with a standing Spanish Fly counter that gets a close nearfall!

Ospreay in the corner for a Hidden Blade, but takes a dropkick…only to get up for an Oscutter off the ropes! No! Okada with a dropkick, but Ospreay responds with a Rainmaker lariat of his own on the champ! Ospreay takes him down with a Storm Zero and the cover…but Okada kicks out!

Ospreay looks for a Tiger Driver now, but Okada escapes to take Ospreay down with a Rainmaker lariat once again! The champ brings Ospreay back to his feet for a lariat, but Ospreay responds with a kick to set up for a Storm Breaker! No! Okada with an arm drag at the last second to counter, pulling Ospreay in for a Rainmaker lariat that scores the champ the win, making him the 2024 Continental Classic winner and STILL Continental Champion!

Winner via pinfall (2024 Continental Classic winner and still AEW Continental Champion): Kazuchika Okada

We see Ospreay being attended to as Okada celebrates his win, adding to his four G1 wins in New Japan for a very impressive streak. Ospreay is met with a handshake from the champ, a sign of sportsmanship before Ospreay leaves the ring to allow Okada to continue his celebration…until Christopher Daniels steps out to the stage.

Daniels congratulates Okada on winning the Continental Classic and retaining the title. Normally he would be here to present the title to Okada, but he cannot do that as he is no longer an EVP of All Elite Wrestling. However…this man is.

With that, the music hits as Kenny Omega makes his way out to the stage to a big pop from the crowd. He stares Okada down from the stage, before taking the Continental Championship from its pedestal and heading down the ramp. Kenny steps into the ring, presenting the title to its rightful owner after a successful run in the Continental Classic…but the two New Japan rivals can’t help but stare each other down as Okada raises his title up high. Omega gives Okada a round of applause before stepping onto the apron to a chant of “Omega” from the crowd before he makes his way back up the ramp while Okada continues to celebrate his big victory tonight. Omega stops at the stage, once again staring Okada down as the latter’s music resumes once more.

Commentary talks up what we just saw, before turning their attention to our main event as the question must be asked…who can take the AEW World Championship away from Jon Moxley, and stop the Death Riders on their journey to destroy AEW?

Video Package: Jon Moxley’s personal mission to “reform” AEW in his image sees him holding the World Championship hostage, and offering three fierce rivals a shot to take it back in Orange Cassidy, Jay White, and Hangman Adam Page!

We head back to ringside for our main event, with Orange Cassidy the first to make his way to the ring for this AEW World Championship match. Out next is Hangman Adam Page, ready to reclaim what he feels is his as Jay White makes his entrance next. Rounding out the competitors is the champ himself, as Jon Moxley is accompanied by Marina Shafir heading through the crowd toward ringside. Mox enters the ring as Shafir hands the briefcase with the title to the ref, before this match gets underway!

AEW World Championship 4-Way Match: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Orange Cassidy vs. Hangman Page vs. Jay White

A strange mishap to start things off, as the briefcase is inadvertently handcuffed to the ring ropes. Shafir breaks the cuff to take the case away as Page and White begin arguing over their plan…and this leaves Cassidy to keep his eyes on Mox leaving the ring, before cutting him off with a dive to the floor! Jay and Adam join in on a beatdown of the champ, finally united to keep the lead Death Rider at bay. As they step away, however, we see Claudio Castagnoli showing up to help Mox up, before the pair leave through the crowd…only for Page, White, and Cassidy to give chase.

This leads to a walk and brawl through the crowd, with Mox turning his attention to Cassidy as Jay and Page deal with Castagnoli. Mox eventually brings Cassidy back to the ring, mocking him with kicks before hitting the ropes…only for Orange to roll out of the ring. Mox goes right back after him, but Cassidy once again leaves the ring for a breather. Mox goes back to him, but Cassidy says to wait as he puts his hands in his pockets…distracting Mox long enough for White and the Hangman to appear beside the champ!

The three challengers once again team up, setting up a triple powerbomb that sends Mox through the table…and Page goes “rogue” by attacking Jay and Orange, bringing the Switchblade back into the ring for a fall away slam. Cassidy gets in the ring but is caught with a nearfall by the Hangman, before Jay breaks it up. Page sends him to the corner before hitting Cassidy with a running boot for a nearfall on him.

As the Hangman continues the attack, we get a glimpse of the Patriarchy up in the stands…but also HOOK keeping a close eye on his foes. Back in the ring, Page fends off an attack by the Switchblade before bringing him out of the ring and sending him into the barricade. He turns his attention to Cassidy, sending him into the ring as the crowd chants “Whose House? Swerve’s House” which flusters the Hangman. This gives Cassidy an opening to fend off Page, but now it’s Jay White in control.

This doesn’t last long as Cassidy starts to fight back, only for Mox to return to the ring as he lays out both men. Mox appears to be busted open on the back of his head as he stares down Hangman, the two going at it until Mox sends him out of the ring. He fends off Cassidy but is taken down by Jay for a nearfall, only to roll the Switchblade up for one of his own. Mox ends up taking down both Cassidy and White, but also falls to the mat as the ref checks on them. The four men slowly make their way to a standing position, before Cassidy drops to the mat. White lays into Mox and Hangman with strikes, before hitting a suplex on Mox…only to take a discus lariat from Page!

Page takes the champ out with a Dead Eye before taking an Orange Punch, but is nearly knocked off with a Blade Runner before Mox intervenes. The four trade moves once more before Page sets up for a Buckshot Lariat on the champ…but Yuta grabs his foot to stop it! He shoves Wheeler away before hitting the Buckshot on Mox, waiting for a ref to come out…and this allows Cassidy to get a crucifix pin for a nearfall on the Hangman!

With these two down, Jay hits the champ with a Blade Runner and goes for the pin…but Yuta drops onto the ref to stop the count! Jay is incensed with Yuta as Shafir turns him around. This leads to a Blade Runner on Marina, but Jay is caught with a Busaiku Knee by Yuta which sets him up for the Death Rider DDT by Mox for the pin and the win to retain!

Winner via pinfall and still AEW World Champion: Jon Moxley

Mox and the Death Riders look to continue the beatdown on Jay White, but are cut off by the arrival of FTR…but they’re not alone. The lights cut out, and we are greeted with “Rated FTR” on the screen as Adam Copeland makes his AEW return! The trio head down to the ring to even the numbers against the Death Riders, with FTR clearing out Yuta and Claudio as Copeland stares down Moxley. Mox turns around and finds himself face to face with the returning Copeland, who dodges a right hand to hit the ropes for a spear on the champ!

Up in the stands we see a concerned Christian Cage leave his seat as back in the ring, Mox is met with a chair leg in his mouth courtesy of Copeland until Castagnoli pulls him out to safety. Copeland’s music hits, but he isn’t finished as he gets a microphone…and when that one doesn’t work, he gets another one to call out Mox. He calls the champ a kid because Mox was “growing pubes” when Copeland started in this business, promising that Rated FTR is going to take it all. Copeland’s music hits once again as the Death Riders make their escape through the crowd, the commentary hyping up the confirmed trios match for Dynamite: Fight For The Fallen this Wednesday from Asheville.

Rated FTR stand tall in the ring, Jay White staring them down from the outside as we get another reminder for the “mother of all simulcasts” this Wednesday, and a shot at the AEW Revolution banner reminding us of our next PPV event as Worlds End, and AEW’s programming for 2024, comes to a close.
