Report: Vince McMahon no longer represented by PR Firm Sitrick And Company ahead of Netflix docuseries

According to a report from POST Wrestling, ahead of the premiere of the ‘Mr. McMahon’ Netflix docuseries on Wednesday, Vince is no longer being represented by public relations firm Sitrick And Company.

The firm’s exit from McMahon’s team also comes just five months after the working relationship began.

Sitrick And Company, led by PR strategist Michael Sitrick, first began working with Vince McMahon this past April. POST Wrestling further notes they learned of the split after they contacted Sitrick, who informed the publication he is no longer representing McMahon.

POST Wrestling stated that they had followed up with Sitrick, asking specifically when the working relationship ended and who initiated the change. Sitrick sent his response to just after their article was published, declining to get into specifics. “With respect to clients, we don’t comment beyond we are no longer working together,” he said.

Sitrick is known for his work in crisis management. He has represented high-profile clients including Roy Disney, Kobe Bryant and Pepsi just to name a few. It was back in April, Sitrick emphasized that his firm took on McMahon’s case after conducting its own due diligence and worked closely with McMahon’s legal team.

McMahon is still being represented by attorney Jessica Taub Rosenberg in the civil lawsuit that filed back in January against McMahon, WWE and former executive John Laurinaitis by former WWE employee Janel Grant. In her lawsuit, Grant alleges she was sexually assaulted and trafficked while under the control of McMahon and that executives within WWE also had knowledge of the relationship between McMahon and Grant.

POST Wrestling concluded by noting they reached out to Rosenberg, asking if McMahon is being represented by a different PR firm and what was the reason that led up to McMahon breaking off the relationship with Sitrick.

POST Wrestling, at the time of their report, had not received a response and indicated they will update their report, should they receive a comment or statement.
