Paramedics called to the home of WWE Hall of Famer, but then were called off

In an update from TMZ pertaining to the arrest of Artem Chigvintsev, the husband of WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella (Garcia), per county records, he has been released from jail as of 2:18 pm PT. He was arrested on Thursday for domestic battery.

Chigvintsev was jailed in Napa Valley, CA where he and Nikki have a home.

Sources told TMZ that the alarm was sounded when someone at Chigvintsev’s residence in called 911. Sources connected to the investigation told TMZ that a call came in at around 8:30 am local time, reporting a “medical emergency.” However, it is not known as to who actually made the call.

The report notes that when paramedics and the fire department were en route, someone from the house called 911 again to cancel the request. They did not say what the reason was, but that paramedics and fire department ended up returning to their stations, never showing up to the house.

Further details from TMZ, revealed that At 10:00 am local time, Chigvintsev was arrested for felony corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant. In order to make the arrest for a felony, the injury must be visible.

The name of the alleged victim has been withheld.

Artem and Nikki celebrated their second wedding anniversary this earlier week. The couple have a 4-year old son together.
