Madison Square Garden announced via social media that CM Punk will be heading to the famed arena for their stop on the WWE Holiday Live Tour.
This officially bumps up Punk’s WWE in-ring return from the Kia Forum event on 12/30 as previously announced.
In his first match in the venue since March 2012, Punk will be facing Dominik Mysterio in what appears to be keeping with pro wrestling tradition of running certain matches repeatedly throughout a live event circuit.
Other stops on the WWE Holiday Live Tour include the TD Garden in Boston on 12/27, Toyota Center in Houston on 12/28, and the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on 12/29, among many others.
