As previously reported, WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre would not be appearing on tonight’s episode of Raw, due to filming a new movie.
In a backstage segment with Riddle during last week’s WWE Raw, McIntyre said that he would not be in attendance at the July 17 show, due to “being off on company business.”
McIntyre is currently filming “The Killer’s Game”, which also stars Dave Bautista and Ice Cube.
There has apparently been rumors that filming of the new movie had been put on hold due to the current ongoing Hollywood writers strike.
PWInsider Elite is reporting that because the movie is in production in Europe, the ongoing Hollywood writers strike has no affect on the filming of the movie. McIntyre will not be in Atlanta for tonight’s episode of WWE Raw.
