We head to the ring for our opening contest, where Two Out Of Three Falls will determine who leaves Calgary with the AEW World Tag Team Championship!

Out first are the challengers, Bullet Club Gold of Jay White and Juice Robinson, as we get a replay of the Eliminator match that earned the duo their shot at the titles. Out next are the champs as FTR head to the ring, looking to bounce back from their non-title loss last week before this match gets underway!

AEW World Championship (2 Out Of 3 Falls Match)
FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) defends against Bullet Club Gold (Jay White and Juice Robinson)

The two teams stare each other down to start things off, the ref working hard to get one in and one out on each side as Juice and Wheeler shove each other. Eventually we start off with Dax and Jay, circling the mat before Jay rolls out of the ring to take a breather…only for Cash to come running at him, sending the Switchblade scurrying! Jay returns to the ring as he and Dax go at it, until Dax slides out of the ring to take a lap on the outside with a smile.

Dax is back in the ring now as Jay looks for a test of strength…but it’s a ruse as he taunts Harwood, before sending him into the ring, only for Dax to hit a shoulder tackle and a small package for a nearfall! Dax with a side headlock as Jay fights to his feet, sending Dax to the ropes and hitting a hip toss and an arm drag to get in control. Wheeler and Juice lock up as Robinson gets taken down by Cash, who himself gets rolled onto his back for a nearfall on the part of Juice! Robinson has Cash in the corner but is sent away as Cash starts to turn things around for him, sending Robinson out of the ring as Jay heads over to check on him while we go to picture-in-picture!

Picture-in-Picture: BC Gold make their way back to ringside as Juice finally rolls into the ring, where he’s intercepted by Wheeler. Cash gets a tag to Dax as they continue the attack on Robinson, who avoids a chop by Dax before leaving the ring for a quick break. Juice is back in the ring and tags in White, who attacks Cash on the apron to rile him up before getting a side headlock on Dax and taking him to the mat, still holding the headlock as we come back from break!

Dax gets out and starts turning things around, hitting a backbreaker on the Switchblade before going into an abdominal stretch! Robinson tries to intervene as Dax grabs the top rope for leverage, something Robinson tries to call out to no avail. Tag made to Wheeler as the champ double-teams White, but Cash only gets a nearfall for it. White manages to get away from Wheeler and makes the tag to Juice, who lays in some hard punches including a big left hand on Cash!

Juice hits a headlock takeover, keeping on top of Wheeler until Cash is able to escape. We get an exchange of nearfalls off of quick pinning combinations, culminating in Juice narrowly escaping a particularly tricky one for a two count! Cash sends Juice out of the ring before tagging in Dax, who goes after Juice on the outside…and takes a couple chops for his troubles! Juice sends Dax back in the ring, but is met with a chop from Harwood when he comes back into the ring himself.

Dax is back in control now as he takes Robinson to the corner, laying in some more hard chops…and dodges one by Juice before hitting a snap suplex and leg drop, but only a one count before Juice kicks out! Dax with a chinlock as Robinson fights back to his feet, only for the two men to exchange headlocks before Dax hits a chop to lay Robinson out! Dax with another headlock takedown, but Robinson manages to fight out of it before sending Harwood shoulder first into the ring post!

Robinson makes a somersault to tag in White, who goes on the attack with some chops to Harwood in the corner focused on the shoulder, followed by some nasty stomps and a DDT on Harwood…followed by one on Wheeler as he runs in to intervene! Dax heads to the corner but is taken down hard, and a big ol’ driver gets Jay a close nearfall in the process!

Dax tries to fight back but is taken down by a Flatliner and a bridging German suplex…but Wheeler breaks the count! White with a chinlock as he brings Harwood up for a Blade Runner, but Harwood escapes and starts exchanging chops with White instead! Jay’s control of the match is starting to slip as Harwood catches him with a clothesline, but both men are down on the canvas as the ref starts a count!

Both men are struggling to move…until Harwood rolls up White for a nearfall! This gets followed up by a rollup by White for a nearfall, and Wheeler gets a tag made…only for a Shatter Machine to get stopped by BC Gold, as White rolls Cash up after a Blade Runner for the pin and the first fall in the match!

Winners of Fall 1: Bullet Club Gold

He finally lets go, but only to tag in Robinson…who taunts Dax before going for another senton…but Cash gets the knees up! Cash gets Robinson rolled up but that only gets a nearfall! White tagged back in now, but Wheeler is fighting back with some hard swings on White.

Wheeler gets sent back by Jay as he goes for a tag, but is taken down with a headscissors as Wheeler tags in Harwood! Robinson gets a tag as well but both of them are met with a flurry of offense from Dax, before White goes after the shoulder of Harwood…who clocks the Switchblade with a clothesline!

Dax catches Robinson with an O’Connor roll but only gets a nearfall, and another rollup nets the same result before he goes on a set of German suplexes…back dropping White before hitting a brainbuster on Robinson…but Juice manages to kick out!

The crowd shows their appreciation for the match as Dax goes for a Sharpshooter on Robinson…who fights out of it, sending Dax into the corner as he tags in White! Jay hits a suplex on Dax, sending him into the turnbuckle as Robinson follows with a cannonball before Jay covers Dax…but only gets a nearfall!

Jay brings Dax to his feet, looking to set him up for a Blade Runner with some chops…but this is met with some by Harwood, which turns into a back and forth that White ends up winning by sending Dax out of the ring. Dax rolls out as Cash goes in, and BC Gold look for a spike piledriver on Cash until Dax intervenes, catching a sunset flip into a pin on Jay…who manages to kick out all the same!

FTR are determined to take this fall however, setting Jay up for the familiar finisher of the Briscoes…but Jay still kicks out! Cash tags in now, setting Jay up on the top turnbuckle as he and Dax lay in some chops on the Switchblade before Dax hits a big superplex followed by an splash by Cash…but White has the knees up and Robinson hits a splash on Cash as White drapes an arm over Dax for the cover…only for Dax to kick out!
