Change made to advertised match for WWE SmackDown at Madison Square Garden

One of the big matches advertised for WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden for SmackDown on 7/7 is a World Heavyweight Championship bout featuring talents from RAW.

The match, previously reported and announced as Seth Rollins defending against Damian Priest, has now been changed to Rollins defending against Finn Balor, the man he defeated at Money in the Bank to retain the championship.

It is unclear why the change was made, but it is highly possible that it centers around Priest now holding the Money in the Bank briefcase won at the Premium Live Event.

Among other matches and segments announced for the show are AJ Styles taking on Karrion Kross, Austin Theory going against Sheamus, WWE Hall of Famer Edge on The Grayson Waller Effect, and Roman Reigns going before the Tribal Court as called by The Usos.
