According to Fightful Select, WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes reportedly has spent time in Los Angeles, CA in meetings for potential film roles.
The report also notes that Rhodes is possibly looking for new opportunities outside of pro wrestling.
Rhodes was said to be specifically interested in the role of Johnny Cage in the upcoming sequel for the “Mortal Kombat.” In addition to “Mortal Kombat,” there was also reportedly discussion for Rhodes being involved in a role in the “Legend of Zelda” movie.
Fightful Select concluded their report by saying Rhodes has no intention of becoming a part-time wrestler, and would only book TV or movie roles around his commitments to WWE.
