WWE Superstar AJ Styles announced on Twitter Saturday that he suffered a broken ankle at the Holiday House Show house show this past Thursday. Styles noted that he will not need surgery.
While wrestling in a six person tag match Thursday with The OC against The Judgment Day at the Giant Center in Hershey, PA, Styles sustained the injury after he leaped over top rope to the outside of the ring. He immediately grabbed his left ankle and lower leg. the referee then put up the X sign for medical staff to come out. Styles had to be helped to the back by Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows.
It is unknown as of this writing how long the 45-year old Styles will be out of action. His last injury was back in 2020 after a separated shoulder following a spear from Edge at the Royal Rumble.
