WWE debuted a brand new logo for NXT at the end of Tuesday night’s one-year anniversary episode of NXT 2.0. WWE dropped the 2.0, returning back to black and gold colors, similar to the original logo.
In a video package that was narrated by WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, highlights over the last year of NXT 2.0 aired, with Michaels stating the main purpose of NXT will always be to develop the next WWE Superstars. At the end of the video, the NXT 2.0 logo faded into a new logo with black and gold colors.
Michaels was recently named senior vice president of talent development creative for NXT. He has been helping behind the scenes with NXT since 2016. Triple H” was named as the company’s Chief Content Officer just last week after taking over as head of creative after the retirement of Vince McMahon in July.
