According to reports by F4WOnline, and Fightful, confirmed by Fightful, Cody Rhodes has suffered an injury ahead of his match at Sunday night’s Hell in a Cell. Cody is set to face Seth Rollins inside a steel cage at tonight’s show.
It is being said that Cody suffered an injury while weight training this past week. The story going around that is that he suffered a torn pectoralis muscle. However, it was also noted that it is not known for sure if this is the injury. It was further stated in the report that the word is multiple wrestlers were saying Saturday night that is they heard that Cody did tear his pectoral muscle.
A street fight with Cody Rhodes vs. Seth Rollins was scheduled for the Saturday Night’s Main Event House Show in Champaign, Illinois. However, it was announced prior in the evening Cody was injured and the match was changed with Drew McIntrye facing Rollins instead. After the match, Cody came out and chased Rollins.
According to sportdoctorlondon.com, generally, low-grade tears take 4-6 weeks to recover, while high-grade tears can take 3-4 months.
