Below are quick results and some highlights from the ROH Final Battle: The End of an Era pay-per-view, that took place live from the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.
Ring of Honor will be going on hiatus during the first quarter of 2022 to reassess the future company.
Pre-Show Results:
-The Righteous (Vincent, Bateman, and Dutch) w/ Vita VonStarr defeated Shane Taylor Promotions (Kaun, Moses & O’Shay Edwards) to become the new ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships
Main Show Results:
-Dragon Lee defeated Rey Horus
-Rhett Titus defeated Dalton Castle (c), Silas Young and Joe Hendry in a Four Corners Survival Match to become the new ROH World Television Champion
-Josh Woods retained the ROH Pure Championship over Brian Johnson
-Shane Taylor defeated Kenny King in a Fight Without Honor Match
-Rok-C retained the ROH Women’s Championship over Willow Nightingale
Post-Match: Former IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo made her way to the ring. Purrazzo said Rok-C has something she wants. Purrazzo said Rok-C is a fighting champion and Purrazzo could name an opponent and a place right now. Purrazzo said she will beat Mickie James to win back the Knockouts Title. Purrazzo then challenged Rok-C in a winner take all match, and they both shook hands.
-Brody King, Homicide, Rocky Romero and Tony Deppen defeated Eli Isom, Taylor Rust, Tracy Williams and EC3 in an Eight-Man Tag Team Match
Post-Match: Adam Scherr (former WWE Superstar Braun Strowman came to the ring and took out Eli Isom, Taylor Rust, Tracy Williams
-The Briscoes defeated OGK (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) to become the new ROH World Tag Team Championship
Post-Match: The lights went out in the arena and AEW Tag Team FTR appeared. FTR and The Briscoes brawled in the ring. Security and personnel come out to break up the brawl as the fans chant to let them fight. FTR then picked up the ROH Tag Titles in the ring, and ran out of the ring as the brawl continued.
Jonathan Gresham defeated Jay Lethal to become the new ROH World Champion.
Bandido could not make the match due a recent positive COVID-19 test.
As the show ended, fans threw streamers into the ring and chanted ROH. A graphic was then shown with “When one era ends, another begins. April 2022.”
