TNA X Division Championship
Jay Lethal (c) vs. Robbie E. w/ Cookie

Lock up and Lethal pushes Robbie to the corner. Big right hands and chops from Lethal. Lethal with two big arm drags into an armbar. Robbie tries to fight back, but Lethal floats over and gets in another big arm drag. Lethal then dumps Robbie over the top rope to the outside. Lethal misses a baseball slide, but takes out Robbie with a big chest chop. Robbie has “GTW” written on his elbow pads. Taz and Tenay said it stands for Gym, Tan, Wrestle. Lethal with a hip toss into a sitting dropkick. Lethal with a big chop to Robbie in the corner and then catches him with an elbow. Robbie counters a Lethal Combo attempt and Robbie dumps Lethal over the top rope. Robbie mounts Lethal and gets in a few right hands. Robbie presses his boot over the chest of Lethal. Robbie launches Lethal chest first into the corner turnbuckle. Robbie with a jumping shoulder charge to Lethal in the corner. Robbie takes some time to fist pump. Robbie catches Lethal coming off the ropes and locks on an abdominal stretch. Robbie catches Lethal with a big elbow dropping Lethal when he broke free of the abdominal stretch. Robbie keeps Lethal grounded wrapping his arms around the mid section of Lethal and applying pressure. Lethal eventually fights back to his feet.

Robbie sends Lethal into the corner and hits some more shoulder charges each time Lethal mounts a comeback. Lethal fires back with right hands and chest chops backing up Robbie. Lethal with a flying forearm and a series of clotheslines on Robbie. Lethal with his headstand off the ropes into a flying elbow on Robbie. Lethal attempts a sunset flip, gets Robbie down and Cookie distracts the referee. Lethal then dumps Robbie over the top rope when Lethal got in Cookie’s face from the ring. Lethal then hits the ropes and connects with a suicide dive to Robbie on the outside. Lethal with big right hands and another chest chop to Robbie on the outside. Lethal throws Robbie face first into the ring apron area. Robbie rolls in the ring and Lethal pulls him back out. Lethal with more chest chops to Robbie. Lethal tosses Robbie back in the ring. Cookie then jumps up on the ring apron with hairspray in hand. Lethal takes it away from her and then connects with the Lethal Combination on Robbie. Lethal goes up top and Cookie grabs his leg. Robbie then hits the ropes and Lethal crotches himself up on the top rope. Robbie with a big neckbreaker on Lethal, Robbie hooks the leg and gets the pinfall.

Winner and NEW TNA X Division Champion: Robbie E.

After the match, Robbie E. and Cookie celebrate in the ring. Robbie shows off the TNA X Division Championship belt up on the turnbuckle. We see a replay/highlight of the match leading to the finish. Back live, Robbie E. is fist pumping and still celebrating.

We go to Mike Tenay and Taz up at the announce table area. Taz is fist pumping. Tenay brings up how Robbie didn’t win fair and square. Taz said it wasn’t clean, but he became the new champ nonetheless. They review the rest of the card tonight including the Fortune vs. EV2 match where the winners will get to fire a member of the losing team. Tenay and Taz also discuss Team 3D either retiring as champions or not tonight and Jeff Hardy defending the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Matt Morgan.

Backstage, Christy Hemme is with Mickie James. Mickie talked about Tara making things personal here in TNA. She said Tara will learn to respect her tonight.

Mickie James vs. Tara

Tara and James start brawling right away after the bell rings. James counters a back body drop and drops Tara with a quick clothesline and dropkick combo. Tara rolls out to recover. She jumps up on the ring apron and gives James a neckbreaker over the top rope. Tara then kicks James in the stomach. James counters a Widow’s Peak and rolls through applying a single leg boston crab. James is pulling back on the hair of Tara and the referee breaks it up when Tara grabs the bottom rope. Tara pulls James out to the floor and they lock up. They stay locked up as they roll back in the ring and Tara launches James across the ring by her hair. Tara chokes James across the bottom rope and yells out, “Smile pretty for the camera!” Tara with a snap suplex on James floating over into a mount position. Tara pulls back on the hair of James. James catches Tara in the corner with an elbow and then gets a head scissors applied sending Tara over the top rope to the floor. James then jumps off the ring apron over Tara. James with a missile dropkick off the top on Tara. James goes for a big kick and Tara grabs her leg. Tara pulls James down into the splits. Tara counters a jumping DDT attempt by James and puts her up on the top turnbuckle. Tara then sits down in the lap of James.

Both ladies throw punches and elbows. Both then fall off the top turnbuckle to the floor below. Another lock up on the outside. James sends Tara back first into the side of the ring two times. The referee is counting. Well, I guess we are ignoring the count now as the referee leaves the ring and follows both ladies into the crowd as they continue to brawl. James and Tara are up against the wall in the rafters. Both push the referee away when he tries to break it up. The referee calls for the bell.

Winner: No Contest

After the match, Mickie James and Tara continue to brawl out of the crowd and then to the other side of the Impact Zone. James sends Tara into the wall area near the entrance ramp. More brawling as James sends Tara into some TNA staff sitting nearby. Tara grabs a large broom and snaps it over the back of James. James with a trash can and clocks Tara with it. James with big right hands to Tara. Tara fights back with some right hands of her own. TNA security hit the scene and attempt to break it up. The crowd chants, “LET THEM FIGHT.” James leaves the area and gets back in the ring. She yells at Tara to get back to the ring. Tara breaks free from security and hits the ring. Security jumps in and Tara drills both of them with big right hands. Big takedown by both ladies. Tara pulled out some of Mickie’s hair. James with a headlock takedown on Tara. D’Lo Brown, Pat Kenney and more security hit the ring to break it up. Another loud “LET THEM FIGHT” from the crowd in Orlando.

A video package runs highlighting Team 3D’s announcement last month at Bound for Glory that they were retiring and how they will face The Motor City Machineguns for the TNA World Tag Team Championships in their last match.

Backstage, Team 3D is with Christy Hemme. Christy said she is sad that this is it for them. Brother Ray said Christy just smacked him in the face with reality. Ray said they will do it one more time together and promise to become the 24-time World Tag Team Champions and they are retiring in style. Devon adds a, “Oh my brother…TESTIFY!”

The bell rings and we start with Brother Devon and Alex Shelley. Devon and Shelley shake hands before starting. Lock up and Devon pushes Shelley to the corner. Both take turns working over their left arms. Shelley with a head scissors on Devon and Devon jumps back up. Devon drops Shelley with a shoulder block, Shelley floats out of a scoop slam attempt and Devon with a flying twisting elbow on Shelley. Shelley with a big back to the back of Devon, ducks out of some rights and lefts from Devon and both square up. Shelley dropkicks the knees of Devon, tags in Sabin and Devon avoids a big neckbreaker/crossbody combo. Sabin then avoids a 3D attempt when Ray gets the tag. Ray works over the left arm of Sabin. Sabin with a big crossbody on Ray (who literally jumped in the air to make it look more impressive). Ray then catches Sabin with a big right hand. Ray picks up Sabin and Devon drops a leg after getting the tag. Shelley tags himself in and drops an elbow over the spine of Devon. Shelley holds up Devon’s head and Sabin connects with a dropkick. Shelley misses a top rope stomp over Devon and Ray gets the tag. Ray takes down Shelley and works over his knee after missing the stomp. Ray misses a splash and tags in Sabin.

Sabin with a flying elbow, Shelley with one of his own, Sabin with another and then dropkicks Devon off the ring apron. Shelley with a suicide dive on Devon into the steel guard railing. Sabin leaps over the top rope and Ray moves out of the way allowing Sabin to crash and burn. Sabin dodges Ray when he charges and Ray hits the steel ring post with force. Ray is busted open on his forehead as he is tossed in for Shelley (the legal man). Shelley works over the head of Ray and tags in Sabin. Sabin with a big right hand and then sticks his finger in the cut of Ray’s forehead to bust him open more. Tag to Shelley as both Guns hit double kicks. Shelley drops his knee over the head of Ray repeatedly. Sabin tags himself in as he works over Ray in the corner. Ray fires back with an elbow, sits up on the top turnbuckle, Sabin with a shot to the gut, jumps up, but Ray lifts Sabin up and hits a huge powerbomb off the top turnbuckle. Shelley gets the tag and cuts Ray off from tagging in Devon. Ray with a HUGE chest chop to Shelley. Shelley with a big kick to the chest of Ray. Shelley invites another chest chop. Ray does so. Shelley with a kick to the back of the head. Shelley springboards off the corner and Ray catches him in mid air with a modified RKO.

Hot tag to Devon. Crowd is on fire in Orlando. Devon with a series of strikes to Sabin and then a huge flying shoulder block. Devon with a close two count on Sabin. Sabin with a kick to Devon, but Devon fires back with a powerslam for another two count. Devon with a neckbreaker on Sabin, another cover and Shelley breaks it up after two. Shelley pokes the eyes of Devon. Sabin with a charge, Shelley leaps with a elbow, Sabin then jumps and Devon catches him throwing him over Shelley. Devon with a huge clothesline on Sabin. Devon is up top and drops a flying headbutt, hooks the leg and Sabin kicks out after two. Shelley is back up with shots to Devon. Ray tags himself in and clotheslines both Guns. Modified 3D to Sabin, Ray hooks the leg and Sabin somehow kicks out. Ray scoop slams Shelley down on the mat. Ray holds up the legs. Devon is up top for a what’s up headbutt and connects. “Devon…GET THE TABLES” (as the crowd in Orlando chants along). Devon tosses a table inside the ring, Ray officially tags in Devon and sets up the table. Ray puts the table up against the corner. 3D sends Sabin into it, he scales up, flips over and Ray crashes and burns into the table. Double kick from the Guns, cover and Devon somehow kicks out.

Sabin has Devon in a neckbreaker and drops down as Shelley connects with a crossbody. Sabin covers and Devon again kicks out. The Guns are shocked. Devon counters a sliced bread #2 from Shelley and Sabin ends up kicking Shelley in the face in the corner. 3D on Shelley. Devon covers…1…2…Shelley gets a shoulder up. 3D can’t believe it. Tenay asks, “Has anyone kicked out of a 3D?” Taz said he has never seen that. Devon tags in Ray. Devon lifts up Sabin who counters with a DDT. Ray misses an elbow drop. Shelley dropkicks Ray. Sabin drops Ray with a neckbreaker as Shelley hits the crossbody. Cover by Sabin on Ray and The Guns get the pinfall.

Winners and STILL TNA Tag Team Champions: The Motor City Machineguns

After the match, we keep the live shot going as we see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Back live, Brother Devon holds up the airs of Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley. A bloody Brother Ray is still shaken up as they help him to his feet. Sabin lifts the arm of Ray. All four men hold their arms up as The Guns point to Team 3D. Sabin and Ray hug.

Backstage, Christy Hemme is with Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer said Taz, Raven and himself are the reason Team 3D got in the business. He said the EV2 guys are fighting for their jobs tonight. Dreamer congratulates Eric Bischoff for creating this atmosphere.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Rob Van Dam

Mike Tenay and Taz talk about how tonight’s match is about RVD’s speculation that there is a mole in EV2 helping out Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff. Lock up and Dreamer grabs RVD’s leg. RVD floats over and Dreamer gets in a quick rollup. RVD with a rollup of his own. Both RVD and Dreamer start arguing. Both exchange right hands. Counters by both. Dreamer with a big clothesline on RVD and RVD rolls out of the ring. Dreamer gets on the ring apron and jumps off connecting with a clothesline on RVD. RVD catches Dreamer with a huge front kick to the head out of no where. RVD then crotches Dreamer over the steel guard railing. RVD up on the ring apron and hits his twisting leg drop over the back of Dreamer. RVD seems to botch a little bit favoring his left leg. Dreamer puts RVD up on the top turnbuckle and pulls him down into the tree of woe. Dreamer puts a steel chair in front of RVD’s face, backs up, but RVD moves the chair away and lifts himself back up. Dreamer with some shots and puts RVD back down in the tree of woe putting the chair back. RVD pushes it off again. Dreamer walks up and drops RVD with a neckbreaker from the corner to the mat. Dreamer then pulls out a ladder from under the ring and tosses in a second steel chair.

RVD attempts a baseball slide, Dreamer moves out of the way and with the ladder still in hand hits RVD in the face with it. Dreamer tosses the ladder inside the ring along with RVD and hits a bulldog on RVD over the ladder. Dreamer covers RVD and gets a two count. Dreamer then drags RVD on top of the ladder and attempts to drop an elbow, but RVD moves out of the way and Dreamer drops his elbow right across the ladder. RVD hits the ropes attempting Rolling Thunder, but Dreamer moves and RVD lands back first over the ladder. Dreamer with a big spinebuster planting RVD in the middle of the ring. Dreamer goes up top, jumps and connects with a strange looking frog splash. Dreamer is favoring his wrist when RVD hits a northern lights suplex into a bridge. Dreamer grabs his wrist some more and you can clearly see a bone popping up on his skin. RVD goes for a quick pin and Dreamer gets a shoulder up. RVD then picks up Dreamer and slams him back first over a steel chair. RVD then attempts a split leg moonsault, but Dreamer moves and RVD crashes over the steel chair. Dreamer is still going as he holds his wrist in pain. Dreamer sends RVD into the ladder in the corner, but RVD fights back hitting Dreamer in the face with the ladder.

RVD is back up top and misses a Five Star Frog Splash when Dreamer moves. Dreamer then picks up RVD and connects with a big spike piledriver. Dreamer covers RVD and RVD somehow kicks out after two. Dreamer puts RVD up on the top turnbuckle and puts the ladder across the second ropes near the corner. Dreamer looks to be attempting a superplex standing on the ladder, but RVD breaks it up crotching Dreamer in the ladder. RVD tosses Dreamer back onto the mat and Dreamer’s legs stay in the ladder as he falls back. RVD with a dropkick to Dreamer’s face using a steel chair. RVD with another Five Star Frog Splash and Dreamer moves again. RVD drops Dreamer over the steel chair and then finally connects with a Five Star Frog Splash. RVD covers Dreamer and gets the pinfall.

Winner: Rob Van Dam

After the match, Tommy Dreamer appears to have legit broken his wrist/forearm. Bone is clearly popping up. Rob Van Dam helps him to his feet and says he is sorry. RVD hugs Dreamer. Dreamer hugs RVD back.

Backstage, Christy Hemme is with Fortune. Ric Flair says thank god what we just saw is over and no one gives a damn about two guys from EV2 beating each other up. Douglas Williams, AJ Styles, Kazarian and Robert Roode all say they want to get rid of EV2 for good. Flair said someone is getting fired tonight in EV2.

10 Man Tag Team Match

Fortune vs. EV2

Mike Tenay thankfully clarified the stipulation that if EV2 loses a member must be fired, while if Fortune loses they face no consequences. This is a change from the original stipulation where the winning team got to fire another member.

The bell rings and everyone is brawling. Robert Roode with a big spinebuster on Stevie Richards in the middle of the ring for a close two count. It looks like Brian Kendrick blew his knee out after taking a nasty bump. James Storm even broke character a little bit and checked on Kendrick as he was being taken away. Tenay and Taz mention that it looks like Kendrick was putting pressure on his knee as he was leaving the inside of the Impact Zone and questioned if he was playing it up to get out of the match. Back in the ring, Kazarian is working over Richards and tags in Douglas Williams. Williams with a flying knee and suplex combo to Richards. Tag to AJ Styles who kicks Richards in the back and showboats a bit. Roode gets the tag and catapults Richards into the bottom rope. Raven breaks it up. Tag to Styles who hits a big suplex on Richards. Tag to Kazarian who suplexes Richards as well. Kazarian misses a superkick attempt and Richards drops him with a modified russian leg sweep. Tags to Rhino and James Storm. Rhino is all over Storm with clotheslines, shoulder charges and a big belly-to-belly suplex. Rhino takes out members of Fortune as they hit the ring going after him. Another belly-to-belly by Rhino on Storm. Rhino is setting up for a Gore.

Roode trips up Rhino and styles hits his springboard flying elbow allowing Storm to get a close two count. Tag to Roode who kicks Rhino right in the gut. Roode with a snapmare and blockbuster combo on Rhino. Tag to Storm who drops a knee over the chest of Rhino. Storm drops Rhino down when he attempted a comeback. Storm with a big kick to the back of Rhino’s head after he was tossed through the ropes to the ring apron. Rhino gets Storm up on his shoulders and drives him down. Tag to Sabu who levels Storm and Styles when he runs in. Sabu takes out members of Fortune on the ring apron as well. Sabu is handed a steel chair, sets it up and springboards off it over the top rope to take out members of Fortune. Raven crotches Styles on the top turnbuckle. Styles pushes Sabu away, misses a springboard 450 and Sabu with a tornado DDT. Williams with an elbow to Sabu and another. Richards with a superkick on Williams. Kazarian drops Richards on his head. Raven with a DDT on Kazarian. Beer Money with a double team on Raven. They do the BEER…MONEY spot. Rhino with a Gore on Roode. Storm with a superkick on Rhino. Sabu hits Storm with a steel chair. Styles with a kick to Sabu in the corner. Sabu crotches Styles up top. Sabu attempts a snap huricanrana, but Styles hangs on and jumps down hitting the Styles Clash. Styles gets the pin.

Winners: Fortune

After the match, Tenay and Taz note that since Sabu was pinned he is now gone from TNA. Fortune celebrate the win was EV2 is in the ring recovering. Styles and the rest of Fortune wave goodbye to Sabu. Ric Flair is on the stage with a mic. Flair wants everyone to pay homage to Fortune and thank god they are here. He then announces that Sabu is fired because he hated The Sheik. I guess Tenay and Taz knew this ahead of time? Either way, Flair starts singing, “Bye bye Sabu!” Tommy Dreamer and Raven get in the ring. RVD grabs a mic saying this sucks and everyone here knows it sucks. Dreamer said if there was ever someone who deserved to be a multi-millionaire after doing what he did to his body for the wrestling business, it was Sabu. He thanks Sabu. The mic seems to catch Dreamer asking if he has anything to say. Sabu’s response, “Nope.”

Backstage, Christy Hemme is with “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero and his “congregation.” He puts over the group backing him up tonight and promises to take out Abyss when Mickie James and Tara appear on the scene. They are still fighting from earlier tonight. Pope’s congregation break it up. They walk off and Madison Rayne appears dropping Mickie over the floor yelling, “You don’t belong here!”

Lumberjack Match

Abyss vs. “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero

The bell rings and The Pope goes right after Abyss. Pope’s entire Congregation is surrounding the ring as the Lumberjacks. Pope with a dropkick sending Abyss to the outside. Abyss quickly rolls back in before the Congregation can get him. Abyss tosses Pope over the top rope, but members of the Congregation catch him and toss him back up on the ring apron. Abyss misses a sitdown splash and Pope goes up top. Pope jumps and levels Abyss with a flying clothesline. Pope with a clothesline sending both himself and Abyss over the top rope. Pope’s brother Kevin is part of the Congregation and they all go after Abyss. Abyss rolls back in and levels Pope with a big boot. Abyss with a big body splash in the corner on Pope. Abyss with a bearhug on Pope. Pope breaks free, but Abyss is able to catch him and lift him up again into the bearhug. The Congregation tries to fire up Pope slapping on the ring apron. Pope comes back with a big DDT. Pope with a series of strikes to Abyss and then a big forearm takedown. Pope with an inverted atomic drop and shoulder block takedown on Abyss. Pope with a kick to Abyss’ knee and big right hands. Pope continues with right hands as Abyss goes down. Abyss with a big elbow drop after springboarding off the corner.

Abyss with the Shock Treatment on Pope. Pope counters a chokeslam attempt and dumps Abyss to the outside. The Congregation goes to work hitting and kicking Abyss. Pope goes up top and takes out Abyss off the top. Abyss is rolled back in the ring and Pope again goes up top with a diving headbutt over the ribs of Abyss. Cover by Pope and Abyss kicks out after two. Pope with big elbows to the head of Abyss along with some big chops. Abyss drops back over the ropes and Pope drops his body off over the back of Abyss falling through the ropes. Pope high fives with members of the Congregation. Eric Bischoff then appears at the top of the ramp smiling. Pope is confused. Pope’s brother Kevin, who is part of the Congregation, takes out Pope and the Congregation starts the beatdown on Pope on the entrance ramp. Pope’s brother Kevin tosses him back in the ring where Abyss is up and ready for Pope. Abyss with a Black Hole Slam on Pope, covers and gets the pinfall. Pope’s brother Kevin looks on smiling.

Winner: Abyss

After the match, Abyss heads to the back laughing with the Congregation.

Backstage, Christy Hemme tries to get word from EV2. Stevie Richards walks out and Christy wants word with Sabu. Richards said Sabu isn’t talking to anyone right now, but challenges AJ Styles to a match this Thursday on Impact.

Jeff Jarrett vs. Samoa Joe

Before the match, Jarrett got on the mic and said on 10.10.10 at Bound for Glory, the Immortals were revealed and for the past 28 days they have led a path of destruction and taken down everyone who has gotten in their way. He said tonight “the founder” will finish off Samoa Joe. The fans start a “YOU SOLD OUT” chant. Jarrett is sick of hearing that chant and threatens to head to the back and talk with Bischoff to get this show ended right now, “with no Jeff Hardy.” Jarrett heads up the ramp when Joe’s music hits and he backs down.

A loud “JOE” chant starts up as the bell officially rings. Lock up and Joe pushes Jarrett into the corner. Jarrett takes the back of Joe, Joe knocks him down, drops an elbow, but Jarrett moves. Joe with a snapmare on Jarrett, misses a kick and Jarrett gets in a quick rollup that barely gets to a one count. Joe with a flying high knee to Jarrett. Joe with big jabs to the body of Jarrett. Joe with a high elbow and kick to the head on Jarrett in the corner. Jarrett with a big right hand to Joe and then uses the ring ropes to rake the eyes of Joe. Joe fires back with a big shoulder block when Jarrett hits the ropes. Jarrett with shoulder charges to Joe in the corner. Jarrett with a big chest chop to Joe. Joe responds with a chop of his own. We get a big chop battle between the two. Joe gets the better of Jarrett just chopping away in short bursts in the corner. Jarrett floats through a powerbomb attempt by Joe and appears to lock on an ankle lock. Joe rolls over and gets the bottom rope to break it up. Jarrett drops a leg over the back of Joe against the ropes and then slides out to hits his big right hand. Jarrett grabs a steel chair and the referee jumps out to take it away. Jarrett is back in and drops a right hand over the head of Joe.

Jarrett attempts this again, Joe counters, dodges a dropkick attempt by Jarrett and fires up hitting a huge clothesline. Joe with jabs, atomic drop, big boot and senton splash combo for a two count. Jarrett out of no where with a Stroke. Cover and Joe gets a shoulder up after two. Joe with a T-Bone suplex. Joe puts Jarrett up on the top turnbuckle. Joe climbs up with Jarrett, Jarrett with punches to the chest, jumps down on the ring apron and drops Joe’s neck off the top rope. Jarrett then puts Joe up on the top turnbuckle and hits a Stroke from the second rope on Joe. Jarrett hooks the leg and Joe again kicks out after two. Jarrett leaves the ring and grabs the steel chair once again. The referee tries to take it away and Jarrett refuses. In the ring, Joe hits the ropes and hits a suicide dive on both Joe and the referee. Both Joe and Jarrett roll back in the ring. Joe puts Jarrett up on the top turnbuckle. Murphy and Gunner, the security team for Hogan and Bischoff, hit the ring. Joe drops one of them with a Muscle Buster. Joe starts choking the other when Jarrett grabs a club and clips Joe in the knee with it. Jarrett starts choking out Joe with it. Jarrett then tosses the club out and the referee is tossed in. Joe is still out as Jarrett applies the rear naked choke. The referee checks Joe and calls for the bell.

Winner: Jeff Jarrett

After the match, Jeff Jarrett celebrates the win as the fans boo.

Tenay and Taz talk about how Matt Morgan is replacing Mr. Anderson tonight in the main event.

Backstage, Christy Hemme is with Eric Bischoff who is celebrating with The Pope’s Congregation. He mentions that if Pope was a little bit smarter he would have raised the pay like he did.

A video package runs highlighting Jeff Hardy’s run as TNA World Heavyweight Champion and dubbing himself as the “anti-christ of professional wrestling.”

Jeremy Borash did ring introductions for the challenger Matt Morgan and champion Jeff Hardy.

Lock up and Morgan pushes Hardy away with force sending Hardy through the ropes. Lock up, Hardy takes Morgan’s back and Morgan nails Hardy with a big elbow to the head. Hardy with a big kick and forearms to the back of Morgan. Morgan drops Hardy right away with a big shoulder block when Hardy hit the ropes. Morgan grabs Hardy by the neck and tosses him with force over the top rope. Hardy spits in the face of Morgan from the outside as the referee tries to get Morgan to back up. Morgan goes after Hardy. Hardy jumps back in the ring, stops himself from rolling in and Hardy misses an elbow drop. Morgan pulls Hardy out of the ring by his head to the floor. Morgan tosses Hardy back in the ring, hooks the leg and gets a two count. Morgan with a big scoop slam on Hardy, but misses a leg drop. Hardy with a dropkick to the face of Morgan and then drops a leg over his left leg two times. Hardy drops an elbow to the head of Morgan. Hardy works on the left leg of Morgan applying pressure. Hardy then turns that over into a single leg boston crab. Morgan reaches out and eventually gets to the bottom rope to break up the submission. Hardy drags Morgan near the corner and puts his leg up on the bottom rope dropping his body weight over it with force.

Hardy then applies a headlock on Morgan into a sleeper hold. Morgan fights his way to his feet. Hardy kicks out the legs of Morgan and then works over his left arm. Morgan fights back dropping Hardy with a series of clotheslines. Morgan fires himself up with a twisting clothesline, hook of the leg and Hardy kicks out after two. Hardy comes back with a big jumping DDT for a close two count. Hardy drops the leg over the neck of Morgan. Hardy is up top, poses and then flips off the crowd. Hardy jumps, Morgan catches him with a chokeslam and executes a HUGE chokeslam. Cover and Hardy somehow kicks out after two. Hardy low blows Morgan with his boot and then drops Morgan with a Twist of Fate (which Taz called the Twist of Hate – new name perhaps?). Turns out Taz screwed up, but liked the new name based on how Hardy is treating the TNA fans tonight. Cover and Morgan kicks out after two. Morgan fires back dropping Hardy with a huge Carbon Footprint big boot. Morgan covers holding down the shoulders of Hardy, the referee counts and Hardy’s leg slightly kicks up after the two count. Morgan is confused feeling he won. Morgan lifts up Hardy and Hardy hits another Twist of Hate (Tenay is going with it and so will we). Another cover and Morgan kicks out.

Hardy misses a body splash in the corner when Morgan moves. Morgan with a big right hand to Hardy and favoring his left knee. Morgan puts Hardy up on the top rope. Hardy catches Morgan with an elbow and then comes flying off with a Whisper in the Wind that connects. Morgan is back up and Hardy hits yet another Twist of Hate. Hardy hooks the leg and gets the pinfall.

Winner and STILL TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Jeff Hardy

After the match, an exhausted Jeff Hardy celebrates with the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. We then see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Back live, Hardy takes a knee with his title in hand as members of Fortune and the Immortals come down to the ring. They start spraying champaign on Hardy as confetti fills the Impact Zone. We see a shot of Eric Bischoff smiling as Ric Flair gets in on the celebration along with Fortune and the Immortals. AJ Styles then “ices” Flair in the middle of the ring. The PPV goes off the air with Flair chugging a Smirnoff Ice while Fortune and the Immortals celebrate.
