– A video package runs focusing on TNA’s steel cage and how all matches at Lockdown tonight will take place inside the steel structure.
– A graphic opening hits welcoming us to TNA Lockdown. We go live to St. Louis where a series of pyro goes off. At ringside, Mike Tenay and Taz welcome us to the show. Tenay announces Douglas Williams has been grounded overseas in the UK due to the recent volcano so TNA has stripped him of the X Division Championship so we will crown a new champion tonight. Tenay adds that Sean Waltman has failed to show up at the building yet. Taz also announces that there is no sign of Eric Bischoff yet.
– Rob Van Dam is out first to kick off the show.
Lethal Lockdown Advantage
Rob Van Dam vs. James Storm
RVD wastes no time and drives the door of the cage right into the face of James Storm. RVD continues to brawl with Storm on the outside and places Storm chest first over the ring barricade. RVD climbs up the side of the steel cage and hits a twisting leg drop over Storm’s back. Storm gets the upper hand, throws RVD face first into the steel steps and then spits some beer at him. RVD has been busted open as he tosses Storm into the ring and the bell officially rings. RVD with an inverted atomic drop on Storm. RVD crotches Storm on the top rope, goes up top and hits a big kick to the head sending Storm into the cage. Storm with a big neckbreaker on RVD from the corner. Storm mounts RVD and lands some big right hands. Storm levels RVD with a big boot. RVD attempts a comeback with a big spinning heel kick. The two exchange rights in the middle of the ring. RVD breaks it up with a few kicks and a series of clotheslines. RVD connects with a split leg moonsault on Storm in the corner, covers and gets a close two count. Storm takes a drink from his bottle, throws it in the air, the referee catches it, becomes distracted, Storm spits the beer in RVD’s face and then connects with a big DDT. Storm covers RVD and RVD barely kicks out after two. Storm sets up for the superkick, misses, RVD misses a kick, but RVD comes back with a big kick to the head. RVD goes up top and connects with the Five Star Frog Splash. Cover by RVD and he gets the three. Team Hogan gets the advantage for Lethal Lockdown later tonight.
Winner: Rob Van Dam
After the match, we see highlights leading to the finish. Back live, RVD is celebrating in the ring as an upset James Storm looks on from the ramp.
– Backstage, Christy Hemme is with Hulk Hogan. She asks how confident he is in Team Hogan tonight. Hogan said things haven’t been that great lately for his team with Jeff Jarrett getting attacked twice by Sting and Beer Money hitting people with beer bottles and throwing fireballs at Jeff Hardy. He also mentions Abyss getting hit by a car recently outside the Impact Zone. Hogan said his guys will regroup and they will tear down the house tonight. He adds that if they can’t get the job done tonight there may not be much use for him in TNA if Team Flair runs through his team.
X Division Xscape Match
Homicide vs. Brian Kendrick vs. The Motor City Machineguns
The winner of this match will join Shannon Moore and Kazarian later tonight to determine a new X Division champion. The Machineguns double team both Brian Kendrick and Homicide early on. Kendrick is busted open already. Homicide goes after Alex Shelley with a big overhead suplex, while Kendrick goes after Chris Sabin choking him with his boot in the corner. Homicide holds Sabin in a camel clutch and Kendrick gets in a big slap. Tenay said he is receiving word that with Sean Waltman not arriving at the building, Hulk Hogan told Scott Hall he better find a partner or he will face Team 3D alone tonight. The Guns then fight back double teaming Homicide. Sabin with a big tornado DDT on Kendrick. Homicide with a neckbreaker on Sabin. Shelley drops Homicide with a facebuster to his knees. Kendrick drops Shelley down in the tree of woe and starts “hitting the handbag” as Taz put it. Homicide with a Gringo Killa on Sabin. Homicide then runs to the other side of the cage, climbs up to the top, Kendrick sees this and goes after him, Homicide is already over the top, drops down and laughs at Kendrick as he hits the floor first to get the win. Homicide joins Moore and Kazarian later tonight in a triple threat to crown a new X Division champion.

Kevin Nash vs. Eric Young
The bell rings and Eric Young goes after Kevin Nash right away with a series of big kicks dropping Nash. Young goes in for a lock up and Nash throws up his knee catching Young right away. Young catches Nash with a boot in the corner, goes up top and connects with a big dropkick. Nash rolls and recovers behind the ropes against the cage. Young hits another big dropkick on Nash sending Nash into the side of the cage. Young hits the ropes and hits a crossbody over Nash. Young moves the referee out of the way and Nash takes advantage giving Young a quick low blow. Nash starts raining down huge right hands over the body of Young. Nash starts choking Young in the corner with his boot. Young is taunting at Nash to continue to bring it. Nash catches Young with a chokeslam. Young recovers taunting Nash more, dodging shots from Nash and getting in some of his own. Nash then levels Young with a big boot. Nash launches Young like a lawn dart right into the side of the steel cage. Nash calls for the end and connects with a Jackknife Powerbomb on Young. Nash covers Young and gets the pinfall.
Winner: Kevin Nash
After the match, referees hit the ring and attend to Eric Young who is busted open and appears to be out of it. Kevin Nash gets on the mic and announces he will tag with Scott Hall tonight to take on Team 3D.

The Beautiful People w/ Lacey Von Erich vs. Angelina Love & Tara
If Angelina Love or Tara get a pinfall, they become the new TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions. If any of The Beautiful People pin Angelina Love or Tara, the woman who gets the winning pinfall is the new TNA Knockouts Champion. We start with Angelina Love and Velvet Sky. Love tackles Sky right away and gets in a few rights. Love takes out Sky with a series of elbows and clotheslines. Tag to Madison Rayne and Love gives her a big front slam. Rayne fires back with a jawbreaker. Tag to Tara who takes out Rayne with clotheslines. Tag to Sky and Tara gets her in a reverse chinlock. Tara with a big snap suplex on Sky. Rayne interferes pulling Tara down by her hair allowing Sky to get in a few shots. Tag to Rayne and both Sky and Rayne double team Tara. Rayne with the scissors stomp on Tara. Tag to Sky who covers Tara for a two count. Tara plants Sky in the corner, yells at Love to watch this and misses a moonsault. Tag to Love who takes out Rayne and Sky with clotheslines. Love tosses both Rayne and Sky into the corner. Tara tags herself in and hits the Widow’s Peak on Rayne. Tara covers and Sky breaks it up. Love hits the ring and goes after Sky when Lacey sneaks in and hits Tara with one of the Knockouts tag titles. Rayne covers Tara and gets the pinfall.
Winner & NEW TNA Knockouts Champion: Madison Rayne
After the match, The Beautiful People celebrate as they now have all the gold in the Knockouts division. Angelina Love can’t believe she lost the title without being pinned. Tara starts apologizing to Love. Love walks off and Tara attacks her from behind. Tara then tosses Love face first into the steel cage.
– Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Team Flair. Ric Flair says they are in St. Louis tonight and it means they are in Ric Flair country. He said while they appreciate the efforts of young guys like Jeff Hardy, Abyss and others, the power is on the side of Team Flair. Flair said while Team Hogan may have Jeff Jarrett, he has the icon Sting. He promises Hogan will walk out of this building tonight with his tail between his legs and Hulk Hogan will never be seen again. JB then goes to speak with TNA World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles and his match with “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero later tonight. Styles mentions he is the longest reigning champion in TNA history and says he doesn’t sweat The Pope at all.
TNA X Division Championship
Shannon Moore vs. Kazarian vs. Homicide
This match will crown a new TNA X Division champion with TNA stripping Douglas Williams of the title. The bell rings and Kazarian and Shannon Moore go after Homicide. Moore drops a leg over Homicide and Kazarian does the same except hitting a springboard leg drop. Moore and Kazarian continue the double teaming on Homicide. Kazarian attempts the first pinfall and Moore breaks it up. Moore with a crossbody on Homicide that Kazarian breaks up. Moore and Kazarian now start going at it. Kazarian with a sunset flip that Moore counters into a reversal resulting in a two count. Homicide with a big dropkick on Moore. Homicide with a suplex on Kazarian. Homicide looks to attempt the three amigo suplexes, but Moore breaks it up. Moore drops a leg over Homicide, Kazarian sneaks in for a pinfall and Moore breaks that up. Kazarian and Moore attempt a double suplex on Homicide. Homicide finds a way to counter and hit a double cutter off the top turnbuckle. Homicide covers both and both kick out after two. Big spot saw a northern lights suplex combo over Homicide by Kazarian on Moore. Moore with a moonsault on Homicide. Kazarian is up top and he takes out Moore with a big dropkick. Moore pushes Homicide off the top turnbuckle. Moore and Kazarian start walking the top rope and meet in the middle. Moore kicks Kazarian off and Moore hits a big moonsault on Homicide. Kazarian breaks up a pinfall attempt. Kazarian powerbombs Moore into the side of the cage. Kazarian is up top with Homicide. Homicide hip tosses Kazarian off the top, Moore covers and Homicide with a headbutt off the top. Homicide with uppercuts to Moore. Moore with big boots to Homicide. Homicide dodges a flip dive from Moore. Homicide has Moore up for the Gringo Killa. Kazarian breaks it up and hits a reverse Tombstone Piledriver. Kazarian covers Homicide and gets the pinfall.
Winner & NEW TNA X Division Champion: Kazarian
After the match, Kazarian celebrates his win by climbing to the top of the cage. We see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Back live, Taz mentions the title is still with Douglas Williams overseas.
– Backstage, Christy Hemme is with “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero. Dinero mentions the last time he faced AJ Styles he was able to get a pinfall and plans on doing it again. He said nothing about AJ Styles screams “style” from his highlighted hair to his fake tan. Dinero said everything he has fought for in his career all leads to tonight.
Before the match, Brother Ray got on the mic and demanded the referee’s keep the cage door open. Tonight he wants a St. Louis Street Fight.

Team 3D vs. Kevin Nash & Scott Hall
3D go after Hall and Nash right away. Brother Ray with a back body drop on Hall over the entrance ramp as Brother Devon and Kevin Nash brawl on the outside of the ramp against the steel barricade. All four men start brawling into the crowd in St. Louis. It is all over the place as the brawling leads back to the ringside area outside the steel cage. Hall and Nash toss Devon back in the ring as Ray attempts to recover on the outside. Hall tosses Devon face first into the steel cage. Hall then holds the steel cage door shut preventing Ray from getting inside. Ray is walking around the cage trying to figure out a way inside as Nash beats down Devon in the ring. Ray grabs a steel chair and hits Nash’s hand with it against the door. Ray is inside as he goes after Hall with some big right hands and chops to the chest. Ray with a scoop slam on Hall. 3D send Hall into Nash in the corner. 3D take turns hitting body splashes on both Hall and Nash in the corner. Ray holds Hall down and Devon hits the wassup headbutt. Ray calls for the tables as the fans in St. Louis chant along. Team 3D then connect with the 3D on Hall through the table, Devon covers Hall and gets the pinfall.
Winners: Team 3D
After the match, Team 3D celebrate their win with the fans in St. Louis.
– A video package runs highlighting the events between Kurt Angle and Mr. Anderson in the last few months.
Kurt Angle vs. Mr. Anderson
The only way to win this match is to use the key and exit through the steel cage door. Mr. Anderson currently has possession of the key. The door is locked shut and the bell rings. Anderson with some quick right hands early on. Anderson levels Angle with a big dropkick to the knee. Anderson grabs his key and immediately tries to open the lock when Angle breaks it up. Anderson wraps the chain holding the key around his hand and starts hitting Angle with it. Anderson again goes for the lock and Angle hits a big back suplex. The key was left inside the lock. Anderson tosses Angle shoulder first into the side of the steel cage. Angle caught his head on the cage during this spot and is now busted open. Anderson throws down the right hands over a bloody Angle. Angle was able to make a brief comeback driving Anderson head first into the cage. Anderson is busted open at this point. Anderson takes his time and starts climbing up the top turnbuckle when Angle explodes, jumps up and hits a huge belly-to-belly on Anderson off the top turnbuckle.
Anderson starts choking Angle with his wrist tape. Anderson applies a body scissors to apply more pressure. Angle looks to be out of it when he breaks up the leg scissors, fights to his knees and then gives Anderson a big back suplex. Blood is continuing to pour down the head of Angle. Series of counters between the two. Angle launches Anderson across the ring with another big overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Angle goes to work on Anderson connectizng with a series of german suplexes. Angle teases he is going to walk out of the cage, but closes the door and applies an Ankle Lock on Anderson. Anderson breaks free, but Angle hits an Angle Slam. Angle then grabs the key out of the lock and throws it over the cage. Angle then flips off Anderson and goes to work on him. Anderson breaks free and tries to get out of the cage climbing over. Angle catches up with him against the steel cage on the top rope and Angle executes a sick german suplex. A loud “THIS IS AWESOME” chant starts up in St. Louis. Angle then positions Anderson near the corner and teases a moonsault.
Angle looks back, looks up and then climbs to the top of the steel cage. Angle turns his body, attempts a moonsault and just barely connects on Anderson. Angle was close to missing that and hitting the ropes instead. The replay tells a hell of a story. Angle then busts open the cage door, but looks back at Anderson who is on his knees and flips him off. Angle walks forward, Anderson hits a low blow and Mic Check. Anderson starts crawling out of the cage door when Angle catches him and pulls him back in the ring. Angle locks on an Ankle Lock and Anderson taps out. The referee signals the match can’t end that way. Anderson then rolls through sending Angle face first into the steel cage. Anderson starts rolling out when Angle grabs his warrior medal and starts choking Anderson with it. Anderson is choked out. A bloody Angle then stands on his feet, spits on Anderson and walks out of the cage over the lifeless body of Anderson.
Winner: Kurt Angle
After the match, Kurt Angle gets on the mic and says the fans in St. Louis are amazing. He announces he is taking some time off, but when he comes back he will be going for one thing only: the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship
AJ Styles (c) vs. “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero
Before the match, referee Earl Hebner sent Ric Flair to the back. Jeremy Borash did ring introductions for the challenger “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero and the champion AJ Styles.
The bell rings, both lock up, Styles hits a knee to the gut and hip toss on Dinero. Lots of reversals early on with both working on each others left arm. Dinero with a series of arm drags on Styles. The crowd in St. Louis is really into the match. Series of strikes in the corner to Styles. Crowd in St. Louis is split over AJ and Dinero. Styles side stepped Dinero and Dinero went flying into the side of the cage. Styles with a huge dropkick on Dinero. Styles goes to work on Dinero on the mat. Styles shoots in on Dinero and lifts him high over his head and back down knee first over the mat. Styles attempts a springboard inverted DDT, but Dinero side steps Styles and drills him head first into the cage door. Dinero fights back with a big back body drop on Styles and follows with an atomic drop and shoulder bump. Dinero with a powerslam on Styles, cover and Styles kicks out after two. Styles catches Dinero with a thumb to the eye, goes up top and takes out Dinero with a big flying forearm. Both fight to the corner, Dinero pushes Styles away, Dinero climbs up top and connects with a flying headbutt over Styles.
Styles with a Pele Kick out of no where. Styles with a quick breakbreaker over his knee. Styles with a 450 Splash on Dinero, hooks the leg and Dinero kicks out. Styles can’t believe it. Styles looks up, jumps up on the top turnbuckle and climbs to the top of the steel cage. Styles is standing up, jumps, misses a crossbody attempt and crashes and burns on the mat. Dinero quickly rolls up Styles and Styles somehow kicks out after two. Dinero with a facebuster to the knees on Styles, another cover and Styles again somehow kicks out. Styles slowly gets to his feet and tries to recover in the corner. Dinero runs towards Styles attempt the DDE when Styles moves and Dinero crashes in the corner with force. Styles grabs the camera man through the opening in the cage and grabs a writing pen. When Dinero walks up, Styles pokes Dinero in the eyes with it and Dinero falls back in pain. When Dinero gets to his feet Styles levels him with a big clothesline. Styles then grabs Dinero, connects with a big Styles Clash, rolls Dinero over and gets the pinfall.
Winner & STILL TNA World Heavyweight Champion: AJ Styles
After the match, AJ Styles grabs the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and heads to the back celebrating his win.
– Backstage, we see a shot of Eric Bischoff arriving at the building and Jeremy Borash tries to get a word. Bischoff just stares down Borash and keeps on walking.
Lethal Lockdown
Team Hogan (Abyss, Jeff Jarrett, Jeff Hardy & Rob Van Dam) vs. Team Flair (Sting, Desmond Wolfe & Beer Money)
We start first with Abyss (Team Hogan) and Robert Roode (Team Flair). Lots of brawling between the two early on. Abyss is able to get Roode down in the corner hitting a few right hands and chokes Roode with his boot. Abyss with a high back body drop on Roode as the clock continues to count down. Roode fights back and tries to drive Abyss’ head into the side of the cage. Roode rakes the eyes of Abyss and Taz jokes, “I wonder how a guy wearing a mask can get his eyes raked?” Tenay says, “Well, through the holes.” Taz laughs. Abyss with more shots on Roode sending him face first into the side of the steel cage. Roode catches Abyss in the corner with a big boot and then follows it up with a blockbuster neckbreaker. Roode starts to hit Abyss with some boots to the chest in the corner.
Time expires. Out next is Rob Van Dam for Team Hogan. The clock restarts and counts down from 2:00 minutes now. RVD hits the ring and catches Roode with a big side kick to the head. RVD with right hands to Roode in the corner that he follows up with a big side kick. RVD with a big monkey flip on Roode. RVD with Rolling Thunder over Roode. RVD grabs Roode and then tosses him face first into the steel cage.
Time expires. Out next is Desmond Wolfe for Team Flair. Wolfe hits RVD with a big dropkick to the back and then sends RVD face first into the steel cage. Roode and Abyss are exchanging right hands. Wolfe and Roode double team RVD hitting a double elbow.
Time expires. Out next is Jeff Jarrett for Team Hogan. Jarrett hits the ring and lights up Roode and Wolfe with some big right hands. Jarrett also sends both face first into the side of the steel cage.
Time expires. Out next is James Storm for Team Flair. Storm hits the ring and gets in some big right hands on Jarrett and tosses a busted open RVD into the side of the cage.
Time expires. Scheduled to be out next is Jeff Hardy, the final entrant for Team Hogan. Backstage, we see a shot of a knocked out Jeff Hardy. Sting is standing over him and walks away. Back in the arena, Storm is dragging the bloody face of RVD across the steel cage fencing.
Time expires. Out next is Sting, the final entrance for Team Flair. Sting enters the ring with his baseball bat in hand. Sting drives the bat into Abyss, Jarrett and RVD. Sting points up and calls for the top of the cage to be lowered to officially begin the Lethal Lockdown match.
The top of the steel cage lowers with the weapons hanging from it. Wolfe hits RVD with a cookie sheet, while Storm hits Jarrett with a trash can. Storm grabs a steel pipe and hits a trash can that was propped up against the body of RVD. Storm uses the pipe on Jarrett getting in a shot to the ribs. Roode lights up Abyss with a series of shots using a trash can lid. Jarrett fights back hitting members of Team Flair with a trash can. Sting breaks that up using his baseball bat. Beer Money with a double suplex on Jarrett. Roode drives Jarrett through the cage door to the outside. Both members of Beer Money leave the ring and go after Jarrett. Abyss grabs a black back and dumps it out across the mat revealing thumbtacks. Abyss rips off Sting’s leather jacket and teases he is doing to chokeslam Sting on the tacks. Wolfe breaks it up and Storm smashes a beer bottle over the head of Abyss. Team Flair stands tall in the ring when Jeff Hardy’s music hits. Hardy runs down with a kendo stick in hand. Hardy takes out Beer Money with numerous shots using the kendo stick.
In the ring, Jarrett with a guitar shot on Wolfe. RVD is up top and hits a Five Star on Wolfe. Sting tries to throw Abyss on the tacks. Abyss stays on his feet and grabs Sting connecting with a chokeslam over the tacks! Sting sits up and screams out in pain. Hardy is still on the outside, starts climbing up the cage and gets to the top. Hardy points down to Beer Money and challenges them to come up top. Storm and Roode climb up. Hardy has his kendo stick in hand and hits both Roode and Storm with it along with a trash can lid as they climb up. A table and ladder is already up top and Beer Money start to set it up after beating down Hardy. Hardy fights back hitting both with the kendo stick. Hardy with a TWist of Fate on Roode at the top of the cage. Hardy puts Storm on top of the table. Hardy grabs the ladder, sets it up, climbs to the top, jumps off and crashes over Storm through the table! Ric Flair’s music hits and he runs down the ramp and gets inside the ring. Flair starts beating down Abyss in the corner. Flair is trying to take the Hall of Fame ring off the finger of Abyss.
Hulk Hogan’s music hits. Hogan gets in the ring and is staring down Flair. Hogan grabs Sting’s baseball bat and tells Flair to get out. Eric Bischoff runs down and is in the ring. Bischoff tells Hogan to back off. Bischoff yells at Hogan saying he promised and wants Hogan to give him the bat. Bischoff then backs up, pulls out some brass knucks and tosses them to Hogan. Hogan puts on the brass knucks and punches Flair in the face. Flair is busted open right away. Hogan tosses Flair into the side of the cage. Flair takes his shirt off, tries to “hulk up” and takes another shot from Hogan. Flair then falls back first into the tacks! Hogan then lights up Flair with shots to the head using a trash can. Abyss then grabs Wolfe and connects with a Black Hole Slam. Abyss covers Wolfe and gets the pinfall for Team Hogan.
Winners: Team Hogan
After the match, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff shake hands. Hogan and Bischoff help up other members of Team Hogan. Flair is covered in blood. We then see highlights of the match. Back live, Bischoff is at the top of the ramp clapping for Team Hogan.
