This week’s Impact opens up with Matt Hardy approaching Rockstar Spud backstage and Hardy saying how proud he is of Spud. Matt says that Spud became a man last week.
“The Olympic Hero” Kurt Angle vs. “IT Factor” Bobby Roode
Roode comes out solo without Storm for this match. He and Angle had a long running feud several years ago which including a BFG Main Event against each other. This could potentially be the last match between the two ever. Angle and Roode lockup but stalemate before either can do anything. A second lockup leads to a side headlock from Roode. Angel shoves Roode into the ropes only to get run over by Roode. Angle answers with a Hip Toss and then an Armdrag. Angle holds onto the armlock as they hit the mat and then he transitions into a wristlock. Roode backs Angle into the corner and then kicks Angle away but as he charges at Angle he gets caught with another armdrag. Angle hits the ropes and kicks Roode as Roode attempted a backdrop and then runs over Angle with a Running Knee. Roode hits a Vertical Suplex and then rolls through into a Front Suplex for a nearfall. Roode puts Angle in a Chinlock but Angle fights back to his feet and breaks the hold with a series of elbows. Angle whips Roode into the corner and charges right into a boot from Roode. Roode and Angle then collide into each other with clotheslines at the same time. Roode attempts another clothesline but Angle ducks it and hits the Rolling German Suplexes! Roode breaks up a third suplex attempt with a series of elbows but then Angle ducks another elbow and goes right back to the Suplexes! Angle hits three more German Suplexes and then Angle goes for the Olympic Slam but Roode blocks it and goes for the Roode Bomb! Angle blocks it and catches Roode in the Angle Lock! Roode rolls over and kicks Angle away with his free leg. Angle immediately gets back to his feet nad charges at Roode but Roode sidesteps him and Angle’s shoulder goes crashing into the ring post. Roode rolls Angle up and gets a nearfall but as Angle kicked out Roode immediately locks in the Crossface! Angle fights the hold off and manages to grab Roode’s foot and lock in the Angle Lock to also break the Crossface at the same time! Roode counters the hold by rolling through into another Crossface! Angle almost taps out but instead rolls Roode over into a nearfall. Roode counters into a nearfall of his own and as they both get to their feet Angle attempts a Lariat, but Roode counters it into the Crossface again! Angle fights the hold off again and this time goes for a pinfall again but Roode rolls through it only for Angle to keep rolling right into the Olympic Slam! 1…2…NO Roode kicks out! Angle goes for the Angle Lock again but Roode catches him with an Enziguri and then the Roode Bomb! 1…2…NO Angle kicks out! Roode goes for the Roode Bomb again but Angle counters into a rollup and locks in the Angle Lock! Roode rolls over and kicks Angle away but Angle holds onto the hold! Angle drops down to his back and great veins the leg! Roode taps!
Winner: Kurt Angle via submission (Angle Lock)
Roode raises Angle’s arm after the match and then grabs a microphone.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Roode says that there is no shame in losing to the greatest wrestler of all time and on behalf of himself and all the boys in the back and every fan In the world he wants to thank Kurt for everything he has done for the fans, the company, and for Roode himself. Angle starts to tear up and they hug it out as the fans chant “Thank You Angle” at him. Kurt looks legitimately choked up at this and James Storm walks out to join in the celebration. Storm says that he wants to say on behalf of two TNA originals, he and Roode, thank you to a true TNA legend. Storm and Kurt hug and Storm says that they have spent a lot of time on the road together and the knowledge that Angle has is worth millions of dollars, but to him the friendship he has received from Kurt is priceless. Storm pulls out some beers and says he isn’t about to let Kurt leave without a true celebration. Storm then pops everyone by pulling out a carton of milk for Kurt with the fans chanting “chug” to Kurt. Kurt does his old milk chug from back in the day while Beer Money toast to him with some beers.
Kurt says that he one more match left on this tour against Lashley and it will be a classic, but one match he wants to see even more than that is Beer Money vs. The Wolves because it would be truly a great match.
The Wolves walk out and Davey thanks Kurt for everything he has done and says that Kurt has consistently motivated and inspired him in wrestling, and if Beer Money, the fans, and Kurt want to see Beer Money vs. The Wolves then “lets do it!” Eddie says that Beer Money doesn’t even need to cash in their title shot for the match and they might want to hold on to it because they will need it again as The Wolves will defeat them and prove that they are the greatest tag team in TNA. Storm says that they aren’t there to prove they are the best tag team in wrestling going but just to reinforce that fact.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Matt Hardy comes out and says that he has beaten EC3 so many times that it has gotten boring. He says that EC3 will never receive a World Title shot again and that he is done with him. He thanks Rockstar Spud and calls him out to the ring.
Spud comes out wearing all black and the fans chant “you sold out” at him. Spud says that everyone in the crowd would sell out too after living in “this dump” their entire life. He says this time last year he was left bloodied and with a shaven head by EC3 and now the fans have just jumped on the latest flavor of the month after what EC3 did. He says now the fans in Britain chant EC3’s name and disrespect one of their own in Spud. Spud asks which of the fans were there for him when he needed them and he says they are all jealous of him and he is a national treasure. He says everyone at home wishes they could be a star like Spud and he says what he did to EC3 last week was just good old fashioned revenge. He said that he did the right thing last week and the right thing was to take away the thing that EC3 cares about most: the TNA World Title. He says that it eats EC3 alive knowing that Matt Hardy is still the TNA World Champion. He says that he dedicates his life to the family and #MattHardyBrand. Spud says that Hardy is the greatest TNA World Champion of all time and he is the champion TNA needs and deserves. Spud says that they have gotten rid of the cancer that is EC3 but then the lights go out and EC3’s music hits!
EC3 runs out with a chair and levels Tyrus with it as Spud, Reby, and Matt bail out of the ring. Matt attacks EC3 from behind and then goes for the Twist of Fate but EC3 blocks it and clotheslines Matt! Spud attacks EC3 from behind now too but then bails out of the ring and runs away as EC3 turned around and went after him. Matt, Tyurs, and Spud start to retreat up the ramp as EC3 grabs a microphone.
EC3 challenges Spud to a fight tonight, not a wrestling match, and he says that he is glad that they are in Birmingham, Eland because there are plenty of people here that have seen Spud’s face enough times that there will be no problem helping the coroner identity the body!
Backstage Gail Kim says that she is going to confront Maria tonight. She says that Maria showed how selfish and conceited she is last week after Gail gave her the chance to show that she is really the Miracle of the Knockouts that she claimed.
Another Decay vignette airs.

Backstage Matt Hardy screams at Dixie Carter about being the World Champion and he says that if EC3 had fired EC3’s ass that would have cured everything. Dixie says that they have brought this on themselves after everything they have done to EC3. Dixie says that she can’t sanction the fight tonight so it will be an Unsanctioned Street Fight.

Abyss w/Rosemary & Crazzy Steve vs. Jimmy Havoc
This is Havoc’s in-ring debut after several backstage appearances over the last few weeks. He has made it clear he has a history with Rosemary. Havoc hits the ring and goes right at Abyss with a series of strikes. Havoc hits the ropes and connects with a dropkick that sends Abyss falling through the ropes to the floor. Havoc goes for a Suicide Dive but Abyss throws a trashcan right into the face of Havoc in midair! Steve and Rosemary pull out a table from under the ring while Abyss continues to work on Havoc. Abyss goes for a Chokeslam through the table but Havoc elbows him repeatedly and then Havoc gets in Rosemary and Steve’s face. Abyss attacks Havoc from behind and then slams him into the ring steps. Havoc rolls back in the ring and The Decay slides another table in the ring. Abyss grabs a cheese grater and goes to hit Havoc with it but Havoc blocks it only for Abyss to kick him. Abyss sets the table up in the corner and then goes to Chokeslam Havoc but Havoc hits Abyss in the nuts with the cheese grater! Havoc hits Abyss in the face with a trashcan repeatedly and gets a nearfall. Havoc climbs up top but Rosemary distracts him on the apron allowing Steve to swing a kendo stick at him, but Havoc catches the kendo stick only for Abyss to throw a chair at Havoc knocking him off the top and send him crashing through the table at ringside! Steve tosses Havoc back in the ring and Rosemary hands Janice over to Abyss! Abyss swings Janice at Havoc but Havoc moves and Abyss hits the table. Havoc hits Abyss with a Roaring Elbow and then a Missile Dropkick! Abyss refuses to go down so Havoc hits a Running Dropkick that sends Abyss through the table! 1…2…NO Abyss kicks out! Havoc pulls out a board wrapped in barbed wire and then grabs Janice as well. Havoc tries to hit Abyss with Janice but Abyss blocks it and goes for the Chokeslam into the barbed wire, but Havoc blocks it and lays into Abyss with repeatedly kendo stick shots! Havoc hits the ropes but eats the Blackhole Slam into the barbed wire for the pin!
Winner: Abyss via pinfall (Black Hole Slam into barbed wire)
Rosemary and Steve taunt Havoc after the match and then Decay poses over the prone body of Jimmy Havoc.
A vignette highlights the drama between Mike Bennett and Drew Galloway.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Backstage EC3 says he has to give Spud credit for his patience to wait an entire year to get his revenge. He says that Spud is a cow and he is about to be sent to an unmerciful slaughter tonight. He says that last year he left Spud bald in England but tonight he will take every last breath from Spud.
Gail Kim comes out and she says that she is here tonight to talk about something that has been really bothering her and that is Maria. She says that the Knockouts have always been about excellence and she didn’t get into wrestling to be famous. She said that she got into wrestling because she loves it and she is willing to do what it takes and willing to sacrifice her body to raise the bar. She says that at Lockdown Maria had the chance to do the same but she showed that Maria is all talk and no action. Gail says that no one wants to see her talk and they want to see her fight. Gail calls Maria out and after a few seconds the lights go out and Maria appears on the stage.
Maria asks if the fans want to see her fight but then says that won’t happen. She says that she will stand right where she is until she is finished talking. Maria says that Gail is proud of being a wrestler but Maria is proud of the lesson she taught Gail. Maria says that at Lockdown when Gail wanted her to enter that “brutal match” she couldn’t cross the line because then she would be just like Gail, and she is nothing like Gail. Maria says that Gail actually wants to be like Maria but Gail says that she is nothing like Maria because all Maria is, is a “crazy ass bitch.” Maria says that Gail claims to not want to be famous yet she married a celebrity chef and aired her wedding on national TV. She says that it screamed “look at me!” and Maria is happy to be famous.
Maria reminds us that she was on the cover of Playboy and appeared on Celebrity Apprentice but says she is also the First Lady of Professional Wrestling. Maria says that she will never get in the ring with Gil because she is a lady. Gail says the people came for a fight and then she chases Maria to the back, but Jade attacks her from behind! Jade slams Gail into a piece of the stage and then hits a Spitting Back Kick that lays Gail out. Jade picks up the Knockouts Title and decks Gail with it! Jade stands over Gail and says that if Gail wants to fight then she has found herself a fight. She says that she is coming for what is hers, the Knockouts Title!
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Bram and EY come out and Bram says that everyone in the crowd “ain’t real men” like he and EY. EY says that there isn’t a man in England that can beat him and he issues an open challenge against anyone. A huge man called Big Damo, from Ireland, answers the challenge. The dude is absolutely massive. Damo gets in EY’s face and says that if EY is looking for the toughest guy in the UK then he is standing in front of EY. Damo asks EY what he will do about it and EY slaps him. Damo lays EY out with an insane Running Dropkick!
TNA King of the Mountain Championship
“Showtime” Eric Young (c) w/Bram vs. “The Beast of Belfast” Big Damo
Damo backs EY in the corner with some wicked punches and strikes. Damo slams EY and then hits a Samoa Joe like Senton Backsplash! Damo stands on EY’s chest and goes for another Backsplash Senton but EY moves out of the way and hits a Leaping Neckbreaker. EY screams at Damo and slaps him over and over as the fans chant for Damo. Damo destroys EY with a Forearm Smash and then tosses EY into the corner. Damo hits a Big Splash and then charges into a big Lariat from EY. EY hits the ropes but Damo lifts him up to his shoulder and hits a Fireman’s Carry Slam followed by the Backsplash Senton! Damo hits a Powerbomb followed by an Elbow Drop! 1…2…NO EY kicks out! Damo lifts EY up in an Electric Chair but EY blocks it and connects with a series of elbows. EY hits the ropes but runs right into a huge Cross Body Block! 1…2..NO EY kicks out! Damo lifts EY back up in the Electric Chair and then transitions into a Fireman’s Carry. Bram gets up on the apron but Damo knocks EY into Bram. EY tries to counter into a Sunset Flip but Damo blocks it and goes for the Senton again, but this time EY gets his knees up and then hits the Spike Piledriver for the pin!

Backstage Galloway says that Bennett is trying to make an impact in TNA but he picked the wrong guy to try and make an example out of. Galloway says there is nowhere to run or hide tonight and he will hurt Bennett tonight.

“The Chosen One” Drew Galloway vs. “The Miracle” Mike Bennett w/Maria
Galloway attacks Bennett as the bell rings but as the referee tries to separate them in the corner Bennett cheapshots Galloway. Galloway comes back and beats Bennett down in the corner. Galloway lays Bennett out with a Big Boot and then he kills Bennett with some chops. Galloway whips Bennett into the corner and as Bennett attempted to float over Galloway, Galloway caught him with a Leaping Front Kick! Bennett rolls to the floor and Galloway follows him slamming him into the guardrail. A fan actually holds Bennett while Galloway chops him. Galloway drops Bennett down across the guardrail Press Slam style. Galloway tries to toss Bennett into the ring apron but Bennett blocks it and hits a series of forearms. Bennett charges at Galloway but Galloway lifts Bennett up in the air sending him into the guardrail! Galloway rolls Bennett back in the ring but Bennett immediately rolls back to the floor, and as Galloway goes to climb through the ropes Bennett sweeps his legs causing Galloway to slam down across the apron. Bennett hits three straight Mafia Kicks sending Galloway into the apron. Bennett rolls Galloway back in the ring and hits a Running Clothesline in the corner followed by a second one and then a Running Knee for a nearfall. Bennett locks Galloway in a Straight Jacket Choke and then transitions into a Chinlock as Galloway fights it off. Bennett hits a Flapjack and then a Sliding Dropkick for a nearfall. Bennett slaps hi several times which just fires Galloway up! Galloway lights Bennett up with some nasty chops and then a Flying Forearm in the corner. Galloway dives off the top with a Flying Clothesline and then he goes for the Future Shock, but Bennett blocks it and hits a huge Forearm Smash. Galloway hits the ropes but as Bennett is right behind him Galloway turns around and hits the Spinebuster for another nearfall! Galloway goes for the Claymore but Bennett gets his boot up. Galloway and Bennett exchange forearms and chops but then Bennett cuts Galloway off with a knee. Bennett whips Galloway into the ropes and goes for a backdrop, but Galloway stops and kicks Bennett only for Bennett to leap up into a Diamond Cutter out of nowhere! 1…2…NO Galloway kicks out! Bennett hits the Miracle Maker and then goes for the MIP but Galloway blocks it and counters into the Celtic Cross! Galloway hits the Claymore and locks in the Iron Maiden (Half Nelson/Crossface combo) but Maria puts Bennett’s foot on the bottom rope as the referee was out of position. Galloway argues with the referee and Bennett rolls Galloway up for the pin!
Winner: Mike Bennett via pinfall (rollup)
Backstage Matt Hardy approaches Rockstar Spud and tries to hype him up for the Street Fight. Hardy says that Spud has to make him pay tonight and finish the job. Spud says he is going to finish the job for Matt.

Grado cuts a promo outside of Wembley Arena and he says that he dreamed of wrestling in that arena as a kid and when he signed to TNA he lived that dream. He says he has the proof of what happened in Feast or Fired and next week he will show the world how he was screwed.
A video package highlights the series of matches Angle and Lashley have had over the last year.
Backstage Tyrus attacks EC3 as he was about to walk out to the ring. Tyrus tries to load EC3 into the back of a trailer but EC3 fights him off and tosses Tyrus in. Matt tries to blindside EC3 as well but EC3 turns it around on Matt and tosses him into the trailer and locks the door! Spud can’t believe it when EC3’s music hits as he was unaware that Matt and Tyrus were unsuccessful in their attack on EC3.

Unsanctioned Street Fight
Ethan Carter III vs. “The Ultimate Underdog” Rockstar Spud
EC3 and Spud are brawling on the stage as Impact comes back from commercials. EC3 tosses Spud down the ramp and then tosses him into the guardrail repeatedly. EC3 tosses Spud into the crowd and then as he tosses Spud into the ring Spud is able to get the advantage as he chokes EC3 with his shirt. Spud taunts EC3 only to eat a Running Clothesline. EC3 kicks Spud in the ass and then kicks the middle rope into Spud’s face as Spud was laying across it. EC3 tosses Spud back to the floor and then he lifts Spud up onto his shoulder only for Spud to rake the eyes of EC3. Spud grabs a chair and charges at EC3 with it. EC3 lifts his boot up sending the chair into Spud’s face. EC3 tries to swing the chair at Spud but Spud kicks EC3 in the knee and then throws the chair at EC3’s face. Spud mounts EC3 in the corner and rains down right hands but EC3 counters into a TK3! Spud rolls to the floor and EC3 grabs him and tosses him right back in the ring. EC3 pulls out a table and slides it in the ring with Spud. Spud hits a Sliding Dropkick through the ropes on EC3 on the floor and then Spud dives off the apron with a Plancha, but EC3 catches him in midair and Press Slams him on the floor! EC3 sets the table up in the ring as Spud tries to crawl away but EC3 grabs him and tosses him back in the ring. Spud tries to beg off but then kicks EC3 in the balls. Spud slaps EC3 repeatedly and lays into EC3 with a series of jabs. Spud goes for a big right hand but EC3 blocks it and Powerbombs the shit out of Spud sending him through the table! EC3 puts Spud in a Cobra Clutch and Spud immediately starts tapping! Referees run out and try to pull EC3 off as Spud passes out but EC3 refuses to let go! Finally EC3 releases the hold
