I want to say Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone and I hope everyone is having a good one.
Impact Wrestling opens up with highlights from last week and then Hulk Hogan makes his way down to the ring to open up the show to a rock star ovation. Hogan says that it’s safe to say that they found some “TNAManiacs” in London. A big “TNA” chant starts and Hogan says that he heard some “noise” when he was “slammin’ giants & winning titles” but this is pretty sweet too. He says he has a couple of big things to talk about tonight and first off, the World Title Match for Lockdown. He says there is so much talent that are hungry in the back that he found 8 guys and tonight those 8 will face each other in 4 matches. After those matches he will decide who is going to be #1 Contender to the World Title later tonight. Hogan announces RVD vs. James Storm, Daniels vs. Magnus, Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe, and Bobby Roode vs. Austin Aries! The crowd popped biggest for the Joe vs. Angle announcement.
Hogan says his other piece of business is Aces & Eights. He says that Aces & Eights called out the entire TNA roster and they want to have “war to end all wars” at Lockdown and then Hogan says he made a phone call to his “brother from another mother” and he made that person the captain of Team TNA for Lockdown! Hogan introduces Sting and the Icon makes his way down to a big ovation.
Sting says it’s showtime in London and the fans in London aren’t just some of the best fans in the UK, but some of the best in the whole world. Sting says that Aces & Eights challenge has been accepted and now he and Hogan are going to look up and down the roster and find 3 “killers” to be on his team at Lockdown. He says they’re going to tear Aces & Eights heads off and put an end to them. Sting asks “Aces & Eights, whacha’ gonna do when the Stinger runs wild on you?!”
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Clips of Bad Influence’s brawl with Magnus a couple of weeks ago are shown as Bad Influence makes their way out to the ring. Daniels & Magnus lockup and Daniels knees Magnus and then puts him in a wristlock. Daniels transitions into a hammerlock but Magnus counters into a wristlock of his own. Daniels rolls through and then puts Magnus in a side headlock as the crowd chants “Lets Go Magnus.” Magnus shoves Daniels into the ropes and takes him down with a shoulder block and then he picks him up. Daniels runs Magnus into the corner and lays into him with a series of shoulder blocks. Daniels then swings a big right at Magnus but he blocks and connects with a series of strikes. Magnus whips Daniels into the ropes and attempts a clothesline, but Daniels ducks and then ducks a second time and dives for an attempt at Cross Body Block. Magnus catches him in midair and then lifts him up into a Vertical Suplex! Magnus slams Daniels into the turnbuckles repeatedly and then tosses him across the ring to the opposite turnbuckle. Magnus then runs to the opposite corner and charges full speed ahead at Daniels, but Daniels moves and then charges back at Magnus only to eat a back elbow. In the back Bully Ray talks to Brooke Hogan and he talks about being disappointed in himself, and he says this is not the way this was supposed to go down. He says that he never would have thought that an injury would stop him. He says he wanted two things, to marry Brooke & the World Title. He says that he prides himself in being a warrior in the ring and everything has been going good lately until this. He says it’s Valentine’s Day and they’re in London and he won’t let this ruin their time together. He gets up and shows a noticeable limp as he says they’re going to go celebrate Valentine’s Day tonight.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Back from the break Magnus says that he may only be 26 years old and a “pup” in TNA, but the fact is that ever since he was 19 years old this has been his life and his religion. He says that was taken away from him for 3 months by Aces & Eights, and when something is taken away from you and you realize how badly you need it you take it and used it as fuel. He says that he has more fuel in his tank than anyone else in this business. He says he just proved to the fans and Hulk Hogan that he has what it takes to be World Champion.
“Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe vs. “Olympic Hero” Kurt Angle
These two have had a storied rivalry in the past having faced each other in every match imaginable from a Steel Cage Match to an Iron Man Match. They’re also former Tag Team Champions together (well sort of, they won the belts but then faced each other in a match to see who controlled the belts). They’ve been working together as of late against Aces & Eights. Two weeks ago Aces took Joe out so that he wouldn’t be able to help him in the Cage Match against Mr. Anderson where Garett & Wes revealed themselves as Aces members. As Angle makes his way to the ring a previously recorded message from Angle is played where he talks about the Olympics getting rid of wrestling. Angle & Joe lockup and Joe gets Angle in a side headlock but Angle shoves him into the ropes only to get caught with a big shoulder block. Angle rolls out to the floor to get away from Joe. Back in the ring Angle kicks Joe and then connects with a big right hand that sends Joe into the corner. Angle hits a series of rights but Joe explodes with a series of nasty jabs that sends Angle reeling into the opposite corner. Joe then hits a Running Back Elbow followed by a Leaping Enziguri! Joe picks Angle up and connects with a Snapmare Takeover followed by a slap to the back and then a roundhouse kick and a Knee Drop! 1…2…NO Angle kicks out! Joe lights Angle up with chops and jabs followed by a European Uppercut. Joe hits the ropes but Angle catches him with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex! Angle puts the boots to Joe and then chokes him. Dueling “Let’s go Angle, Let’s go Joe” chants start as Angle nails Joe with a Snap Suplex. 1…2…NO Joe kicks out! Angle hits a Snapmare Takeover and then puts Joe in a headlock. Joe fights up to his feet and breaks the hold with elbows and body shots. Joe bounces off the ropes but runs right into a back elbow from Angle and then Joe slaps the mat in frustration as we go to a break.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Back from the break Angle has Joe in a front facelock but Angle fights out of it and lays into Angle with a series of chops. Joe then hits the ropes and attempts a clothesline but Angle ducks and goes for a German Suplex. Joe blocks it but Angle hits him in the back of the head and then attempts to whip him into the ropes. Joe counters right into a big Forearm Smash to Angle. Joe then attempts to whip Angle into the ropes but Angle reverses it and Joe holds onto the ropes. Angle charges at him but Joe sidesteps Angle sending him out to the floor. Joe then hits the Elbow Suicida through the ropes onto Joe on the floor! Todd mentions that Bully Ray wanted to be a part of these matches but he suffered a quad injury in last week’s match. Back in the ring Joe connects with an Atomic Drop and then a Running Mafia Kick followed by a Senton Backsplash! 1…2…NO Angle kicks out! Joe goes for a Powerbomb but Angle blocks it hits the Rolling German Suplexes! Angle goes for the Olympic Slam but Joe blocks it and nails Angle with a series of jabs. Joe then attempts to whip Angle into the corner but he reverses it and charges at Joe only to get caught with the STJoe! Joe lifts Angle up on the top rope and goes for the Muscle Buster but Angle blocks it and hits a Missile Dropkick! Angle then hits the Olympic Slam! Joe gets right back up to his feet and locks Angle in the Coquina Clutch! Angle backs Joe into the ropes to break the hold and then gets him with a drop toehold and locks in the Ankle Lock! Joe almost taps but then rolls through sending Angle into the corner! Angle comes charging at Joe and they nail each other with clotheslines! Both men are down as Aces & Eights run out and jump both Angle & Joe!
Winner: NO CONTEST
Wes Brisco & Garett Bischoff beat on Angle & Joe until the babyfaces turn it around on them. They chases Bischoff & Brisco off.
Backstage Dixie Carter talks to Blossom Twins and Marty from British Boot Camp and she says this is their chance to wrestle in the Impact ring and show what they can do even though Spud won the contest.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Party Marty & The Blossom Twins vs. Jesse, Tara, & Gail Kim
Footage of British Boot Camp is shown as Marty & the Twins come to the ring. It’s extremely hard to tell the Blossom Twins apart (it’s impossible). Marty & Jesse start the match off and Jesse nails Marty with a knee and then taunts the crowd as he whips Marty into the ropes and takes him down with a shoulder block. Jesse hits the ropes but Marty catches him with a Spinning Back Kick followed by a Snap Mare Takeover! Marty then hits a big spin kick and follows up with a running slap in the corner. Jesse gets pissed and answers with a series of strikes to Marty. He whips Marty into the corner and charges but Marty nails him with an elbow followed by a Springboard Moonsault! 1…2…NO Jesse kicks out and retreats to the floor.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Back from the break Jesse tags Tara into the match so Marty tags in one of the Blossom Twins. She catches a charging Tara with a series of armdrags and then a dropkick! She covers Tara for a nearfall and then tags then tags in the other twin (I am clueless as to which is which) and they whip Tara into the ropes and hit a Double Sidewalk Slam! 1…2…NO Tara kicks out! Tara elbows her and then tags Gail in and she grabs the twin by the hair but eats a Forearm Smash! Gail grabs her and shoves her into the corner but the twin springs to the top and divers off with a Flying Back Elbow! 1..2…NO Gail kicks out! Gail comes back and hits her in the back and then goes for a Scoop Slam but the twin counters into a press and she covers Gail while the heels distract the referee. She then gets up and hits the ropes but eats a kick from Tara on the outside. Gail then nails her with a clothesline and taunts the British crowd. Gail picks up the twin and tosses her into Tara’s boot and then puts the boots to her before tagging Tara. Tara tosses the twin across the ring by her hair and then she slams her into Gail’s boot. Gail tags back in and connects with a Backbreaker for a nearfall. Gail kicks the twin and then slaps her before whipping her into the corenr. Gail charges in with a Body Splash and then she covers her for a nearfall. Gail tags Tara back in and holds the twin while Tara kicks her. Tara covers her and gets another nearfall. Tara lifts the twin up in the hair and hangs her before connecting with a Scoop Slam followed by a Standing Moonsault, but the twin gets her knees up and then kicks Tara away and tags in the other twin! She comes in as Gail tags back in as well and connects with a series of forearms on Gail. She then hits a series of clotheslines on Gail and tosses her hard into the corner. Tara comes in and attempts to clothesline the twin but she ducks and lays Tara out with a Big Boot! The other twin comes in and they Flapjack Gail on top of Tara! One of the twins gets up on the other’s shoulders and then dives off with a Splash! 1…2…NO Tara breaks it up! The other twin kicks Tara out of the ring and then Jesse comes in and threatens the twins but Marty dives off the top with a Missile Dropkick to Jesse! Marty then dives through the ropes with an inside dive and Jesse does his best Miz impersonation by not catching Marty at all and Marty goes crashing hard into the rail! In the ring Gail hits one of the twins with the Eat Defeat! 1…2…3!
Winners: Gail, Tara, & Jesse via pinfall (Eat Defeat)
After the match Gail Kim gets on the microphone and says that she once again proved why she is the most dominant Knockout in TNA. She thanks Taryn Terrell for not being her incompetent self for once. She looks at Tara and says that she has something Gail wants, her Knockouts Title. She says that Brooke Hogan told her that she is making a Knockouts Title for next week so she wants Brooke to come out and give her that title shot.
Brooke Hogan walks out and says that she hears what Gail is saying and she knows that Gail wants a shot so she’s going to give it to her. Gail says she will also be wrestling Miss Tessmacher and then Tessmacher comes out and poses to the crowd. Brooke says she will also be wrestling Velvet Sky and then Velvet comes out. It will be a 4-Corners Elimination Match! Brooke says to make sure that nothing screwy goes on she will be sitting ringside for the match and then she wishes them all luck.
Footage of Dixie Carter’s announcement on Bellator last week is shown where Dixie announced Jeff Hardy’s contract extension and the new dates for Impact on the road.
A replay of the injury to Hardy is shown and then clips of the matches from earlier tonight featuring the World Title contenders are shown.
In the back Aries & Roode talk about their match tonight. Aries says Hogan is scared and that’s why he’s trying to divide them. He says that they have to stick to the plan and Roode agrees. Aries says Roode can have the TV Title and the Knockouts Title while Aries takes the World Title, but Roode says Aries can have the X-Division Title and Roode will get the World Title. They continue to argue but Roode stops it says tonight they have to do what’s right for business. He says someone is going to get a World Title shot and he asks Aries if he’s going to do what’s right for business and Aries says of course. Aries asks Roode the same and he says that he always does what’s right for business. They say they’re on the same page and walk away.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
“Cowboy” James Storm vs. “Whole F’N Show” Rob Van Dam
RVD and Storm shake hands and then lockup and neither one gets an advantage and they break. They lockup again and this time RVD gets Storm in a side headlock, but Storm shoves him into the ropes only to get nailed with a shoulder block from RVD. RVD bounces off the ropes and then Storm goes for a backdrop, but RVD flips over him and then attempts a Hip Toss. Storm blocks it and hit’s a Hip Toss of his own! Storm sets up for the Last Call but RVD blocks it and then hits a Spinning Heel Kick! RVD springs to the top but Storm gets back to his feet and knocks RVD off the top to the apron! Storm slams RVD into the turnbuckles and then tries to do it again but RVD blocks it with his foot and kicks Storm. Storm falls backwards to the opposite corner and RVD climbs back up top and attempts the Van-Terminator! Storm rolls out of the way and RVD absolutely destroys himself! That was a nasty bump! Storm hits the Last Call! 1…2…3!
Winner: Storm via pinfall (Last Call)
In the back Joseph Park comes to Hulk Hogan’s office and says that some of the “boys” told him he needed to learn how to politic and he wants a World Title shot at Lockdown too. Hogan says he doesn’t have to politic but Park says he went out got a campaign manager and buttons and signs and everything (okay that was funny). Hogan asks if the boys told Park that’s what “politicking” was and then asks him if he knows what a “rib” is because that’s what they did to him. He tells Park to go ask the boys what a rib is (a joke) and Park asks if he can count on Hogan’s vote. Hogan laughs and says yes and then he turns and says that Brooke is pushing too hard for something that she is asking for and closes the door.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Back from the break Brooke talks to Hulk and she says that Bully has the “it factor” and he works hurt. Hulk says everyone works hurt in this business and he has 8 other guys to look at right now. Brooke says that she has found out so much about Bully since they got to the UK and she says that Hulk doesn’t even know that Bully got into the business because of Hogan. She says that Bully wants to be like Hulk so badly but he’s never been champion. She says that she knows he’s trying to be GM and business oriented but he needs to soften up because he’s family. Hulk says if she wants him to say that he wants to have a son-in-law that’s World Champion then he would but he has to stay objective about this. He tells her to chill out and he will take it under advisement.
A video package hyping up the Roode & Aires paring is shown.
Bobby Roode and Aries come out for their match.
These two are obviously Tag Team Champions but they also had one of the best feuds of 2012 which resulted in Austin Aries winning the World Title at Destination X. Roode grabs a microphone and he says that it’s only taken Hogan one week to try and screw up their plan of taking over TNA. He says last week was only part one because they plan on winning all the gold and finally bringing some prestige and honor back to them. Aries says the plan tonight is so transparent and if Hogan is scared he needs to say he is. A big “Austin Aries” chant erupts and Aries thanks them but says he knows his own name. He says Hogan’s plan isn’t going to work because they’re on the same page and they know what has to be done. He says they’re going to do this real easy and real simple and tells the referee to ring the bell.
Main Event
“The IT Factor” Bobby Roode vs. “A-Double” Austin Aries
Roode and Aries both go for the “Finger Poke of Doom” but neither one guys down (oh my God this is priceless). They argue over which one is going to take the pin and then Aries yells “you haven’t seen this before? You’re supposed to go down!” They start poking each other harder but neither is going for it. Aries picks up the microphone and says this is just a little miscommunication because Roode is supposed to go down but Roode says he isn’t going down. Aries says he’ll be the bigger man but Roode snatches the microphone away and says, “I’m the bigger man! Look at me!” Aries reminds him that it’s just a figure of speech and says he’ll lay down for Roode. Aries lays down in the ring and Roode covers him but Aries kicks out and rolls Roode up! 1…2…NO Roode kicks out and gets pissed! Roode shoves Aries and he shoves Roode back and then get in each other’s face!
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Back from the break they lockup and brawl into the corner and then they shove each other away. They argue about laying down for each other again. They lockup and Aries gets Roode in a side headlock but Roode shoves him into the ropes and goes for a clothesline, but Aries ducks and then Roode goes for a backdrop but Aries cartwheels over him. Aries then lays in the corner and taunts his partner as Roode gets pissed and charges after him. Aries moves out of the way and Roode slams into the corner and then Aries hits a shoulder block through the ropes on Roode. Aries then goes for a Slingshot Sunset Flip but Roode blocks it and drops down to his knees to cover Aries, and uses the ropes for leverage! 1…2…NO the referee realizes Roode is holding onto the ropes. Aries is pissed about Roode cheating so Roode shoves him again and Aries shoves back. They lockup and Aries gets Roode in a side headlock, but Roode shoves him into the corner. Roode charges at him but Aries floats over him into a rollup! Aries uses the ropes for leverage and the referee realizes it and now Roode gets pissed about Aries cheating. They shove each other again and start trading strikes. Aries hits a series of nasty forearms followed by a Roaring Elbow! Aries bounces off the ropes but walks into the Double-R Spinebuster! 1…2…NO Aries kicks out! Roode goes for a Running Powerslam but Aries blocks it and shoves Roode into the corner. Aries elbows Roode and then hits a series of forearms before boxing the sides of Roode’s head knocking him off the top! Aries goes for the 450 Splash but Roode moves and Aries rolls through! Roode goes for the Spear but Aries blocks it and locks in the Last Chancery! Roode rakes the eyes of Aries to break the hold and then locks in the Roodeface! Aries looks like he’s going to tap but he rolls over into a pin! 1…2…NO Roode kicks out and then goes for the Payoff, but Aries blocks it and goes for the Brainbuster! Roode blocks it and attempts a German Suplex but Aries counters into a waistlock of his own. They continue to counter each other until Aries accidentally shoves Roode into the referee! Roode then catches Aries with a back elbow. Roode rolls out to the floor and finds a chair. He goes to hit Aries with it but instead sees the referee starting to stir so he slams the chair into the mat and then drops it and lays down as if he was hit with it Eddie Guerrero style! Aries sees this so he grabs the chair and slams it into the mat and lays down as well! The referee turns around and sees the chair and both men laid out. They blame each other as the fans chant “TNA.” As the referee talks to Aries, Roode does the “up yours” hand motion and when the referee turns down Roode drops back down to the mat like he’s knocked out. They start arguing and then notice Hernandez & Chavo walking down the ramp. Chavo & Hernandez are wearing Aries & Roode t-shirts and taunting them which causes Aries & Roode to get pissed and start walking towards them. They then realize that the referee is counting them out and they both try to get back to the ring shoving each other down in the process, and because of the fighting neither one makes it back in time!
Winner: DRAW via DOUBLE COUNTOUT
Chavo & Hernandez laugh at them as the draw is announced and Aries & Roode get pissed. Aries & Roode argue with each other after the match.
Hogan talks to Sting backstage and they talk about beating each other up at Starrcade years ago and the verbal beating Brooke just gave him was worse. Sting says he has a big decision to make and he’s glad it’s not him.
—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-
Hulk Hogan comes back down to the ring and as a “Hogan” chant starts he says that he appreciates it but it’s not about him anymore, it’s about those 8 guys that busted their asses tonight. He asks the fans if they know now why it’s so hard to pick a challenger for Hardy. Hogan says it’s decision time and he has to pick one guy to face Hardy at Lockdown. Aces & Eights start running down to the ring and surround Hulk. Bully Ray limps down to the ring with a chain and Aces & Eights retreats to the floor as Ray starts swinging the chain. Sting comes out now with 3 bats and hands them to Hogan & Ray so Aces & Eights decides to bail.
