Kurt Angle missed the second night of TNA TV tapings this past Tuesday in Orlando, FL as he is shooting a movie called “Warrior” that is being filmed in Pittsburgh, PA reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. It is an MMA movie with Nick Nolte starring as a retired mill worker and alcoholic who raised his sons to be wrestlers, but they switched to MMA and are favorites to win a $5 million tournament. Angle plays one of the fighters in the tournament in Atlantic City (although it was filmed in Pittsburgh) known as a Russian killer named Koba. The tournament scenes will be filmed on May 30 at the Peterson Events Center and the movie is looking for fans to fill the seats. Filming begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends around 6:00 p.m. with doors open to the public.
