Vince Russo has denied reports about being under contract with TNA in a new interview with WrestleCrap.com on “The RD and Blade Show.” Russo joins Eric Bischoff who also denied being under contract with TNA based on a report by Dave Scherer of PWInsider.
Russo stated in the interview that his previous contract with TNA ended in February 2012 and had no idea where the rumor came from. It should be noted that the same report claimed Russo was working as a consultant for TNA, something Russo chose not to confirm.
“…if I’m working as a consultant for TNA, if I’m working as a consultant with WWE, if I’m working as a consultant with Jeff Jarrett, you know what, I choose not to comment on that, because I just am fascinated to sit back in my house here in the mountains here in beautiful Colorado and just see how two years and three months I’ve been out of the business, but yet everyday I still seem to be the topic of conversation. And I am totally, totally entertained by that. So if I say that I am consulting for Jeff or I’m consulting for Vince or I’m consulting for TNA, it would take the enjoyment of that out of it for me.”
