MVP (Hassan Hamin Assad aka Alvin Burke, Jr.) has yet to sign a contract with TNA as of this weekend according to a report by Dave Meltzer. He had stated publicly on Twitter before his TNA debut that he had yet to sign a contract with any company. MVP remains under a verbal deal with TNA and has yet to sign an actual contract after debuting as the new “investor” at the recent string of television tapings in the UK. He’s able to use the MVP name as he came up with the gimmick and trademarked it.
He issued a series of tweets on Friday about his TNA debut.
A huge thank you to Glasgow, Manchester & my home away from home, London, for the humbling reception! It feels great to be back! #TNA #UK

And of course a word of thanks to the TNA family, both talent & crew for the warm welcome. I’m looking forward to working with you. #TNA
