Jason Powell is reporting that a locker room meeting was held with TNA President Dixie Carter, Jeff Jarrett, TNA CFO Dean Broadhead and Executive Vice President Andy Barton before the 7/19 TNA TV tapings in Louisville, Kentucky. Carter stated to the roster that more cuts to the roster would be coming, but the cuts are for the “long-term good of the company.”
Carter also stated that one of the reasons for the restructuring of the company was due to the amount of money that was spent on the One Night Only PPV tapings at the former Impact Zone a few months ago. New TNA hire John “Big” Gaburick was said to have received strong praise from the roster at the TV tapings. Gaburick is said to have brought a “more positive vibe” than the recently released Bruce Prichard and has been assigned to many of Prichard’s previous responsiblities.
