WLTX in Columbia, SC is featuring an article about a woman, who did not want to be identified, winning $100,000 from Ric Flair’s lottery contest.
“She said that only her husband was a fan of the Nature Boy before she uncovered the big prize. Known for his signature, “Wooo!” catchphrase, the South Carolina Education Lottery began Flair’s “Lucky WOOOOO!” game on Jan. 25.
The winner’s husband told lottery officials that he was walking around their house chanting Flair’s “Woooo!” when his wife told him to be quiet.
“Now, I have a new reason to scream ‘Woooo!’ he said in a news release. “She’s started saying it.”
The couple said they plan to use the money for expenses.”
