Fighting Spirit Magazine is featuring an interview with TNA star Douglas Williams that was picked up by The Sun in the UK. During the interview, Williams talks about his character in TNA criticizing the X Division and if he truly feels that they are “spot monkeys and trapeze artists.”
“Well, there certainly is a lot of that in most X-Division matches and it really makes sense for it to be toned down a lot because the audience watching get lost. You see one high spot after another after another, you just get desensitised to what they’re watching. These guys are taking so many unnecessary risks to entertain a crowd that, at the end of the show, are probably going to go home and just forget about it.”
