TNA World Champion Sting is currently rehabbing his knees in between TV tapings and PPV events reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He didn’t let anyone know in the company that he was injured until a day or two before the Genesis PPV on January 11. When this was discovered they had to change up previous plans for the PPV and throw in a Rhino injury storyline as a way to keep the match much shorter. They also made changes to the TV tapings that followed the PPV so he wouldn’t have to do much physically as well. While nothing is confirmed at this time and this is pure speculation, many feel that this could be Sting’s last run in TNA when his deal expires later this year if he is already experiencing serious knee problems.
