The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that one of the reasons the deal between Paul London and TNA fell through is because London wanted more money than they were offering. London is currently citing a back injury for pulling out of independent bookings, which is something TNA wasn’t said to be aware of when he canceled his appearance for last night’s Impact taping in Orlando. PWInsider is reporting that The Amazing Red was backstage and ready to go at the taping last night, but London’s decision to cancel left the company pretty upset. There was said to be talk of one point of bringing back Sonjay Dutt and pairing him with Amazing Red to fill the spot originally slated for London.
