Beginning in 2018, Wrestleview.com has returned to monitoring and reporting on any stories making the rounds among the wrestling media. These stories will be clearly marked as a “rumor” (as highlighted in the image above) for reference.
We’ve been made aware of a tweet by Robbie Fox of Barstool Sports that claimed WWE’s upcoming Crown Jewel event next week in Saudi Arabia could be in jeopardy.
The tweet focused on issues with talent, specifically noting John Cena and Daniel Bryan reportedly “refusing” to work the show. The other addressed current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns reportedly being injured.
WWE Crown Jewel could be in trouble.
I was just told Reigns is currently injured and that Cena and Bryan are "refusing" to work the show. Many on the current WWE roster have expressed concerned with going, as well, but obviously not all of them have the power like Cena/Bryan.

We noted in a report last week that WWE talent anonymously informed Sports Illustrated that they didn’t feel comfortable performing in Saudi Arabia. Whether Cena and Bryan were among the talent involved with those claims remains to be seen.
Regarding Reigns, PWInsider is reporting that Reigns was spotted working out in the ring inside the Dunkin Donuts Center at the site of tonight’s RAW taping in Providence. The same report indicated Reigns “showed no signs of injury” and that Reigns was simply given the weekend off from the road by WWE officials.
Tonight’s RAW is expected to focus on both this Sunday’s all-women’s Evolution PPV, along with the Crown Jewel event that is still a go as of Monday. Shawn Michaels is scheduled to return to WWE television tonight, along with Triple H, to hype his return to the ring in a tag team match against The Undertaker and Kane.
