New ROH streaming service coming in 2018
A new ROH streaming service will reportedly roll out some time in 2018.
According to a report by PWInsider.com, a bumper aired after the first commercial break on a recent ROH TV episode stating: “Coming in 2018… HonorClub…it’s more than a network.”
ROH COO Joe Koff revealed in an interview with CBS Sports last November that the company had plans to roll out a new streaming option.
“You’re going to see an enhanced Honor Club. We tested it during the Global Wars Tour of streaming house shows to ringside members. You’re going to see a lot more content available, not only to everybody, but certainly in that Honor Club. [When we tested] streaming for two shows, our response was terrific from a quality standpoint and from an accessibility standpoint.”
New Japan coming to game consoles
New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced a Playstation 4 release for the “Fire Pro Wrestling World” video game later this summer according to PWInsider.com.
The game, which is part of the widely popular Fire Pro Wrestling video game series, was released on Steam through Early Access last year.
This will mark the first time Fire Pro has officially licensed a wrestling promotion as part of the video games series, which dates all the way back to 1989 in Japan.
