IMMEDIATE RELEASE – CHANGES TO SHINE 35
First, Sweet Saraya Knight has been forced to cancel her appearance at SHINE 35 due to a family emergency. The entire WWN family would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to Saraya and her family during this difficult time.
Secondly, WWN would like to congratulate Allysin Kay on winning the TNA Knockouts Championship at Sunday’s Slammiversary,
This leaves SHINE in a precarious position since Allysin was set to challenge Madison Eagles for the SHIMMER Championship at SHINE 35.
After much deliberation, SHINE officials have decided to take this opportunity and truly make SHINE 35 a historic event. Not only will three of the top women’s championships be defended on the same event, they will be defended in the same match!
It will now be SHINE Champion Taylor Made vs. SHIMMER Champion Madison Eagles vs. TNA Knockouts Champion Allysin Kay! Whomever is pinned or submitted will lose their title!
That leaves us with one additional issue – what do we do with all the other participants that were scheduled to be in title matches, as well as Sweet Saraya Knight’s scheduled opponent, former SHIMMER Champion Nicole Matthews?
The answer is SHINE 35 will open with it’s first ever Money In The Bank Match featuring Kellie Skater vs. Mia Yim vs. Santana vs. Nicole Matthews where the winner will be guaranteed at title match at their choosing!

SHIMMER 81-85! JUNE 24-26 IN CHICAGO!
We’re less than three weeks away from the return of SHIMMER – WOMEN ATHLETES to live action in the Chicagoland area! Three days of live events will take place during the weekend of June 24th through 26th, for the taping of five volumes in the SHIMMER series! They are Friday, June 24th (SHIMMER 81), Saturday, June 25th (SHIMMER 82 & 83), and Sunday, June 26th (SHIMMER 84 & 85). The Friday & Saturday tapings will take place at Logan Square Auditorium (2539 N. Kedzie Blvd.) in Chicago, IL. The Sunday taping will take place at the Berwyn Eagles Club (6309 26th St.) in Berwyn, IL. Bell times are 8pm on Friday, 3pm on Saturday, and 1pm on Sunday. The events are suitable for all ages.
Front row floor seating for the Friday, June 24th event is already SOLD OUT. A handful of front row seats are still available for Saturday, June 25th (3 seats left), and Sunday, June 26th (5 seats left). They can be purchased at www.SHIMMERwrestling.com right now.
