Show kicks off with EVOLVE Tag Team Champions Johnny Gargano & Drew Galloway making their way to the ring. Galloway says they wanna kick off the show by defending their titles now. Gargano says he has a surprise for Drew, a special cornerman, making his return to EVOLVE, Kota Ibushi! Ibushi comes out to a big reaction.

EVOLVE Tag Titles, if the challengers lose, they can never team again in EVOLVE: Drew Galloway & Johnny Gargano (c’s) w/Kota Ibushi vs. The Premier Athlete Brand (Anthony Nese & Caleb Konley) w/SoCal Val & Andrea

Challengers attack the champs as the bell sounds. Konley goes for a tope suicida on Galloway, but Galloway CATCHES HIM IN MID-AIR and hits a tilt-a-whirl slam on the apron! Nese cartwheels off the apron to avoid Galloway, but accidentally superkicks Konley! Gargano wipes out Nese with a tope suicida! Champions with chops around ringside to the challengers. Back in, Gotcha! Kick and a leaping neckbreaker by Gargano on Nese for 2. Konley gets involved, but Gargano nails him, however it allows for Nese to hit Gargano with a dropkick.

Konley in, knee drop to Gargano for 1. Body scissors applied. Gargano fights back, but PAB hit an alley-oop assisted gutbuster for 2. PAB continue to work over Gargano, Konley taunts Galloway, drawing him in. Gargano makes a comeback, tags in Galloway.

Galloway makes a comeback on PAB, gets a couple nearfalls. PAB fight back and get a couple nearfalls. Val & Andrea try to interfere, but Ethan Page runs out and stops them.

Gargano takes down Konley, Garga-No Escape applied, Konley taps!

Gargano, Galloway & Ibushi celebrate their title retention afterwards. With the loss, PAB can no longer team in EVOLVE.

Matthew Riddle runs out before the next match and grabs the mic from ring announcer Joanna Rose, calling her “bro.” Riddle calls out Thatcher, or “Trashy Timmy:, saying he wants to fight right now. Thatcher runs out and our EVOLVE Ttitle match is happening right now!

EVOLVE Title, Volume 56 Return Match: Timothy Thatcher (c) vs. Matthew Riddle

Lots of chain wrestling on the mat early before they stalemate. Thatcher goes for strikes, then takes down Riddle and goes for a Kimura, but Riddle escapes. Riddle goes for an armbar, but Thatcher slips out. Thatcher with knees to the ribs, but Riddle goes for a choke. Riddle locks in a neck submission, but Thatcher counters out. Thatcher goes to deadlift Riddle, but Riddle blocks it. Thatcher with another knee to the ribs, then goes for the Fujiwara Armbar, but Riddle quickly gets to the ropes. Both go again for armbars, with the other finding a way to slip or counter out. Thatcher locks in an Ankle Lock, but Riddle gets to the ropes. Riddle goes for some kicks, but Thatcher blocks it. Thatcher goes again for the Fujiwara, but Riddle stops it. Thatcher with more rib shots, then goes again for an armbar, but Riddle slips free. Thatcher turns Riddle’s foot in an awkward direction, then switches to a Haas of Pain variation, but Riddle gets to the ropes. Riddle takes down Thatcher and locks him in a Stretch Muffler, but Thatcher gets out. Riddle tries for the Prohibition Kneebar, but Thatcher blocks it. Thatcher tries for a Heel Hook, but Riddle fights out with hard slaps. Thatcher with a big headbutt to the chest, followed by elbows from the mount. More shots by Thatcher to the ribs, but Riddle with more elbows to the head. Thatcher goes for a Dragon Sleeper, along with knees to the head. Uppercut by Thatcher, followed by body and head shots. Knee strike by Thatcher for 2. Thatcher goes back to the Dragon Sleeper, then lifts up Riddle and drops him down overhead as Riddle’s legs got caught up in the ropes. Thatcher gets 2. More uppercuts by Thatcher, but Riddle with a leaping knee and a Fisherman’s Buster for 2. Victim Kick by Riddle, followed by a running knee to the ribs. Riddle goes for a Deadlift Gutwrench, but Thatcher blocks it and hits Rolling Gutwrench Suplexes on Riddle. Riddle blocks another, but Thatcher takes him down into the Fujiwara Armbar. Riddle tries to get up, but Thatcher takes him back down. Riddle now counters into a Fujiwara Armbar of his own on Thatcher, but Thatcher slips out. Riddle switches to a Cross Armbreaker, but Thatcher counters by trapping Riddle’s legs. Back to the Fujiwara Armbar by Thatcher, but Riddle uses his legs to counter out and take down Thatcher. Thatcher blocks and goes for a Cross Armbreaker, but Riddle slips out and goes for it himself. Riddle has it locked in, but Thatcher gets to the ropes. Riddle drags Thatcher back to the middle of the ring, Thatcher again makes it to the ropes. However, as Riddle makes it to the ropes, Riddle wrenches on it some more and finally breaks. Thatcher rolls outside, screaming in pain and the ref throws up the “X” sign, calling for the bell.

No Contest (Timothy Thatcher retains the EVOLVE Title)

Gabe Sapolsky runs out, as well as multiple refs, to check on Thatcher. Riddle holds up the EVOLVE Title, thinking he won it, but the ref grabs it back from him and says he didn’t because he refused to let go of the hold. Thatcher, with one arm, goes back after Riddle, but Catch Point and other refs pull them back and Catch Point gets Riddle to the back. Referees continue to check on Thatcher as you can see his right elbow in a bad angle. Thatcher storms to the back.

Marty Scrull vs. Fred Yehi

This is Scrull’s EVOLVE debut as he is a standout in the UK. Lots of chain wrestling early until a stalemate. Yehi with an armdrag that surprises Scrull. Scrull with a knockdown and taunts Yehi, but Yehi rolls him up for 2. Scrull with a right hand, but Yehi with a Fisherman for 2. Scrull goes for the Chickenwing, but Yehi gets free. Yehi is sent outside, Apron Superkick by Scrull knocks him down. Back in, Scrull goes for a surfboard, while pulling at Yehi’s face, then drives his weight across the back of Yehi’s legs. Scrull taunts Yehi some more, then hits some uppercuts. Yehi comes back with a backslide for 2, but then Scrull with a big uppercut. Yehi blocks a roll-up and stomps a mudhole in Scrull and walks it dry. Series of Release Germans by Yehi, followed by a Basement Rolling Forearm for 2. Scrull slips out of a Pumphandle, Yehi gets out of another Chickenwing attempt, but Scrull fakes him out on a superkick and superkicks him in the knees. Yehi runs into a knee strike, but hits an axe kick and a big forearm. Pumphandle Suplex by Yehi for 2. Yehi goes for Scrull’s Chickenwing, but Scrull blocks it and goes to the fingers. Series of short-arm clotheslines by Scrull, then blocks a German and goes to the fingers again. Yehi with a shot downstairs to fight out. Yehi steps on Scrull’s foot and hits another stomp to the fingers. Scrull traps Yehi’s hand in-between his feet and snaps his wrist back.

Scrull celebrates his win as commentary says that Thatcher might have a dislocated elbow and his status is up in the air for tomorrow.

Ethan Page vs. Sami Callihan

Had computer issues during this, Callihan beat Page with the Cinder Block basement forearm.

TJ Perkins vs. Ricochet

Chain wrestling early til Ricochet gets to the ropes. Ricochet kips up after being knocked down, TJP with a springboard arm drag, Ricochet with a backflip headscissors and a dropkick that sends TJP outside. Ricochet then fakes out TJP with a move and poses in the ring. Crowd chants for Ricochet. Back in, Ricochet stomps a mudhole in TJP and gets 2. TJP comes back with a spinning back kick, but Ricochet with a spinebuster. Ricochet removes his elbow pad and hits the People’s Moonsault for 2.

TJP takes over, goes to work on Ricochet’s leg with an Indian Deathlock. Exchange in a Knucklelock, but TJP regains control with a Knee-DT. TJP continues to work over Ricochet’s leg, Ricochet gets to the ropes. TJP with a Groin Press while Ricochet was stuck in the Tree of Woe, then does a Dragon Screw. TJP locks in his version of the Sharpshooter, then switches to a STF, then to a seated surfboard. Ricochet gets up, but TJP with a handstand headscissors takedown. Ricochet gets up, but TJP takes him back down. Ricochet cartwheels out on another try, but TJP with a head kick. Ricochet then comes back with a Blind-Side Cutter.

Ricochet comes back with a series of kicks to a doubled over TJP, ending with an enziguri. TJP slips out of the Benadryller, but Ricochet with a leg-capture Flatliner and a running Shooting Star Press for 2. TJP comes back with a rolling kneebar, but Ricochet counters with a pin attempt for 2. Both guys hit each other with head kicks, then exchange knee strikes until TJP with a dropkick to the knees. Ricochet blocks a wheelbarrow move, Blue Thunder Bomb, followed by the Northern Lights/Deadlift Suplex combo for 2. “This is awesome” chants. Ricochet heads up top and goes for a 450, but his leg gave out when TJP moves.

TJP celebrates his win after as the crowd is in shock that Ricochet tapped. We see Stokely Hathaway make his way into the ring as TJP holds open the ropes for him. Stokely hands TJP a binder with papers and a pen. Stokely asks TJP to sign something and he does. Stokely gets on the mic and says that TJP has said he has been a free agent for weeks and now he has signed to my Dream Team. Stokely says he has a message for Triple H. If you want the best person for your Global Cruiserweight Series, then look no further than TJP. I would call as soon as possible, because we have options and could go anywhere. I am Stokely Hathaway, this is TJP and we represent the Dream Team!

Best in the World Challenge Series Match #3: Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Will Ospreay

ZSJ is 2-0 so far, beating Johnny Gargano & Drew Gulak at EVOLVE 56 and 57. This is Ospreay’s EVOLVE debut. Chain wrestling early, stalemate. More chain wrestling, ZSJ slips out and wags his finger at Ospreay. Ospreay slips out of a ZSJ arm submission, another stalemate. ZSJ with constant snapmares to Ospreay, but Ospreay keeps slipping out and arm whips ZSJ down. Ospreay cartwheels out of arm whip and hits a rope-assisted armdrag, followed by a dropkick for 2. Running basement corner dropkick by Ospreay for 2. ZSJ comes back with a cravate and headbutts. Ospreay fights out, but ZSJ with a headbutt to the chest, then takes him down by the leg off an Ospreay leapfrog. ZSJ stops a backflip headscissors, Leg Clutch gets 2. ZSJ catches Ospreay off a springboard, Dragon gets 2. Headscissors applied by ZSJ, followed by a basement dropkick to the back of Ospreay’s head. ZSJ pulls back on Ospreay’s leg, while his foot is against the back of Ospreay’s head. ZSJ goes back to the cravate, then goes to the Octopus, while flexing in a pose! Ospreay makes it to the ropes. ZSJ traps Ospreay’s legs and taunts him, then bridges backward. ZSJ bridges back up and butterflies Ospreay’s arms, then throws him down. Stranglehold applied, then bridges backward into a Bow & Arrow. Ospreay slips out and hits a back handspring enziguri to ZSJ.

Ospreay sends ZSJ’s head off his boot, then hits a springboard elbow smash that sends ZSJ outside. SASUKE SPECIAL BY OSPREAY WIPES OUT ZSJ OUTSIDE!!! Back in, Ospreay with an Inward Cutter for 2. “This is awesome” chants. Ospreay heads up top for the 630, but ZSJ avoids it. WHEELBARROW TIGER SUPLEX By ZSJ for 2! Arm-Trap Dragon Sleeper applied by ZSJ, but Ospreay rolls through a Crucifix and hits a Standing Shooting Star to ZSJ’s back! Ospreay springs up top, PHOENIX SPLASH!! 1-2…ZSJ KICKS OUT!! OSPREAY CAN’T BELIEVE IT! “Both these guys” chants. Ospreay does the Rainmaker Pose and goes for the Rainmaker, but ZSJ avoids it. Exchange of pins until ZSJ with a Japanese Leg Clutch for 2. Running Uppercut and a Springboard Tornado DDT by ZSJ, but Ospreay POPS RIGHT UP! Ospreay goes for another Standing Shooting Star, but ZSJ CATCHES HIM IN A TRIANGLE!!! Ref checks the arm three times, Ospreay is still in it on the third attempt! Ospreay power cleans ZSJ up and Buckle Bombs him! Ospreay springs to the top, but ZSJ kicks his legs out, crotching Ospreay! Another “This is Awesome” chant. ZSJ heads up top with Ospreay and goes for a Super Dragon Suplex, but Ospreay fights out. Ospreay tiger flips over ZSJ, CHEEKY NANDOS! ESSEX DESTROYER!! 1-2…ZSJ KICKS OUT!! Ospreay heads up top, but ZSJ gets the knees up on a Corkscrew Moonsault! RUNNING PK! LIGER BOMB! OSPREAY KICKS OUT!

ZSJ & Ospreay shake hands and embrace after. “Thank you both” chants. Out comes Heroes Eventually Die for the next match, as Chris Hero is set to face ZSJ tomorrow night at Mercury Rising. Hero sarcastically puts over ZSJ, but he still hasn’t beat the greatest of all time. ZSJ says that changes tomorrow and pats Hero on the face before leaving.

Main Event: Catch Point (Drew Gulak & Tracy Williams) vs. Heroes Eventually Die (Chris Hero & Tommy End)

Unfortunately, had some more computer issues during the match, so wasn’t able to catch it. Gulak submitted End with the Gu-Lock to win for his team. Hero walked out on End after, disappointed. TJP came out to celebrate with Catch Point, but Stokely Hathaway came out and led TJP away as the show closed.
