Jason Powell is reporting that ROH performer BJ Whitmer suffered an injury at tonight’s ROH live event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Whitmer sustained the injury after taking a piledriver on the ring apron from Michael Bennett in their 1st Round match of the ROH World Title tournament. The match was abruptly stopped after the piledriver and Whitmer received medical attention for around 15 minutes. The cameras stopped filming and its said that a number of wrestlers who came out from the back looked very concerned for Whitmer. Whitmer was stretchered out, but was able to give a thumbs up as the EMTs took him away.
Arda Ocal, who is at the show, tweeted the following:
BJ Whitmer was conscious, wiggling his fingers, gave a thumbs up while stretchered out. Is being taken to hospital.

Security prevented fans from walking out into hallway as Whitmer was attended to there by paramedics before being taken away.
