Saturday night July 13th we head back to Dearborn, MI for another huge live event at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center! Last time out at “The Hunt For Gold” The American Wolves & The Briscoes had a classic tag title bout, Jimmy Jacobs gave then-TV Champion Adam Cole a run for his money, and Detroit’s own Tadarius Thomas went toe-to-toe with Kevin Steen in a World Title bout! What’s on tap for this time out?
Well already signed for that night is a battle of four of the best with The American Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) taking on the pairing of Jay Lethal & Michael Elgin! Now Match Maker Nigel McGuinness has revealed to ROHWrestling.com four more bouts that have been signed for that evening’s festivities:
– BJ Whitmer vs. Adam Cole
There are some unanswered questions when it comes to Adam Cole after his bout with Roderick Strong at “Best in the World 2013”, especially with the way Steve Corino chased him down after the match. Is Cole beginning to see things in Steve’s light or is Corino simply chasing after something that isn’t there? We will see in Dearborn with Cole goes head-to-head with BJ Whitmer, and you can bet that if Cole bows out on the Code of Honor like he did against Roderick back in Texas BJ will certainly make him regret it!
– World Tag Team Champion Bobby Fish vs. ACH
– World Tag Team Champion Kyle O’Reilly vs. Tadarius Thomas
The duo known as Adrenaline RUSH had their chance to earn a future title match at “Live and Let Die” in Columbus a few weeks ago but came up short against reDRagon when O’Reilly forced ACH to tap out. Now he and Tadarius come to TD’s hometown looking to pick up singles victories over the tag team champions! A pair of wins for Adrenaline RUSH would go a long way towards getting into the title picture once more and with reDRagon coming off bouts against The Wolves one night prior in Milwaukee, they just might be ripe for the picking!
– Non-Title: Kevin Steen vs. World TV Champion Matt Taven w/ Truth Martini
It looks like Matt Taven will be put through the wringer this weekend as he first battles in a Four Corner Survival in Milwaukee and then must contest with Kevin Steen one-on-one in Dearborn! With the events of Baltimore in his rearview mirror, Steen is hungry to get back into the World Title picture and what better way to get at it then be beating the TV champion!
Ring of Honor is the best pro wrestling on the planet and it comes back to Dearborn, MI on Saturday July 13th! Tickets are on-sale now in the ROH Store!
