Bret Hart tells how fellow wrestlers made the grim prediction a year before Andrew Martin’s death that the former WWE superstar known as Test would ‘be the next to go’, but says there was little anyone could do beyond ‘putting him in a straight jacket’.
Hart goes on to predict how the number of drug-related deaths in the industry will start to drop, and that it is’ impossible for Vince MacMahon to stop wrestlers taking pills’ even if ‘promotions have been guilty for running wrestlers into the ground’.
