IGN.com is reporting that former WCW, WWE and TNA star Chavo Guerrero Jr. will be working as a wrestling coordinator for the upcoming Netflix series “G.L.O.W.” (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) based on the all female wrestling promotion that was founded in 1986.
Actress Alison Brie was announced as starring in the series according to Deadline.com. Also featured on the show is comedian and podcast host Marc Maron. Brie will play a struggling actress in Los Angeles who enters the world of women’s wrestling.
According to the IGN article, Guerrero was brought in so the rest of the cast would have a basic ring knowledge ahead of filming that begins later this month. Guerrero is currently with the Lucha Underground promotion that airs on the El Rey Network.
