Recap by: Jason Namako of Wrestleview.com
We see video highlighting what has gone down in Lucha Underground over the last few months, including Fenix pinning the new Lucha Underground Champion, Prince Puma, a few weeks ago.
We go into Dario Cueto’s office where he is there with Fenix. Cueto says that he is a honest man and I need to be honest with you. You have impressed the hell outta me since arriving here in Lucha Underground. You jumped off the top of my office your first night, you won an amazing 10-man match, defeating Prince Puma and last week, you started first in Aztec Warfare and against all odds, nearly won the entire thing. I see big things for you in Lucha Underground, but I want you to come to this Temple for a reason, its your destiny to be here and tonight, I’m gonna give you the opportunity to live up to your name. Show me that you rise from the ashes and defeat a man you already have, I want you to destroy Prince Puma.
Fenix says in Spanish that he doesn’t fight for Cueto, he fights for himself, he fights to be the best.
Cueto says he knows and that is why Fenix will face Prince Puma for the Lucha Underground Title. Take the title from him, destroy Puma and embarass Konnan. Seize this opportunity because if you don’t, somebody else will. Fenix leaves Cueto’s office as we see the mystery woman from before staring at Cueto from outside his office.
We go inside the Temple as we go to our opening match, featuring a bunch of new talent to Lucha Underground.
