Jennifer Swift of The New Haven Register is featuring an article providing an update on the sixth arrest of former WWE Diva and Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch. Sytch, pictured in the article in sweats and slippers, was arraigned on Monday morning for violating a protective order and is still being held on a $100,000 bond.
Sytch’s attorney Rob Serafinowicz told the judge that she was “lured” back to the home of the 27-year-old Branford man (a professional wrestler) where she was not permitted to enter due to a protective order. Sytch claims the man is her fiance and that she was forced to “self medicate” after being abused by him.
Sytch has filed a criminal complaint against the man over the abuse charges, while Branford Police Capt. Geoffrey Morgan confirmed Sytch was sent to the hospital complaining of breathing problems after the alleged incident.
