Deadline is reporting that MLW has named Emmy-winning actor Paul Walter Hauser as the promotion’s new Executive Producer. In addition, Hauser’s management company, Artists First has also been hired for representation with the goal of MLW securing television and streaming distribution deal, as well as brand licensing partnerships.
Hauser told Deadline that he has been a lifelong fan of professional wrestling and MLW represents everything he loves about the sport, from the hard-hitting action, compelling characters, and innovative storytelling. Hauser went on to say that he is thrilled to join the promotion as new Executive Producer and looks forward to working alongside the team to bring fans the best possible experience.
MLW’s Founder and CEO Court Bauer told Deadline that bringing in Hauser as Executive Producer and teaming up with Artists First marks a major milestone for the promotion. He added that Walter’s passion and creative insight, combined with the industry-leading expertise of Artists First, will propel MLW to new heights and expand the promotion’s presence across multiple platforms.
Hauser made his pro wrestling debut in 2023, and he has been with the MLW ever since while also continue to work his acting jobs. He has also appeared as part of the panel on the pre-shows for AEW’s recent pay-per-view events and has also been part of segments on AEW programming.
