Prestige Wrestling has announced that the opponents for The IInspiration’s (Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay) return to the ring on Thursday, April 17 at The MEET Las Vegas, Nevada will be Nicole Matthews and Kylie Rae.
Matthews wrestles for Shimmer Women Athletes and Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling and other independent wrestling promotions. Rae has made appearances for TNA, AEW and the NWA.
Tickets for the Prestige Wrestling event called Nothing To Lose are on sale now.
This will be the first time will team together since 2022, after announcing they were stepping away from the wrestling ring.
Under the tag team The IIconics in WWE, Lee as Peyton Royce and McKay as Billie Kay, are former Women’s Tag Team Champions. WWE released the duo back in April of 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They had first signed a developmental deal with WWE in 2015 and were called the IIconic duo during their tag team run in NXT.
As the IInspiration, Lee and McKay made their debut with IMPACT Wrestling at the 2021 Bound For Glory pay-per-view. They are one-time IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Champions.
Lee and McKay as their WWE in-ring names of Billie Kay and Peyton Royce made their video game debut in WWE 2K18. They appeared again as playable character in WWE 2K19, WWE 2K20 and WWE 2K22.
Both women are now wives and mothers. Lee and her husband, NXT talent Shawn Spears have two children, while McKay and her husband have one child.
