The Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake), defeated TMDK’s Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste to become the new NJPW STRONG Tag Team Champions at the promotion’s Fighting Spirit Unleashed, which took place on Friday night.
Per F4WOnline, GYV captured the tag titles after Haste was choked out by a towel and then was hit with the high low for the win.
Since leaving WWE and the NXT brand, GYV has wrestled on the independent scene and competed on television for AEW, ROH and TNA.
