Arda Ocal sent this in.

Arda Ocal (@arda_ocal) of The Score Television Network spoke with former WWE superstar and AWA champion Rick Martel. Highlights:

How much is professional wrestling apart of his life today:

“I had a 25 year career. Ive put in my time. I like to do these independents once and a while, get to see the young talent, the young upcoming talent, get to see the fans which is great. Its a win win situation”

How him using the Boston Crab as a finish came about:

“I had a brother in professional wrestling. He’s the one that taught me the Boston Crab. I have used it many many times, and had a lot of success with it, so I think it was a great move for me”

His feuds with Tatanka and Shawn Michaels in 1992. After the feud with Shawn Micheals at Summerslam 1992, he went back to his feud with Tatanka, what was the reason for the pause ? , also gives his thoughts on the best moments on his career in WWE

Why HBK vs Rick Martel at Summerslam 1992 wasn’t a career highlight for him

Was there ever any discussion for Rick Martel to become Intercontinental champion as “The Model”

When he looks back on his career as “The Model” Rick Martel, where in his opinion does career rank in terms of highlights, also did he like working as a heel or the baybyface in wrestling:

“I was the babyface for 15 years. I kinda got tired of it. I always wanted to be the heel cause my brother was the heel, and I grew up around the villians, traveling with villians. I wanted to do it sometime, when I changed and became ” The Model” it was great, it gave me the creative juices, and that second push I needed”
