Tony Khan announced a new match for ROH Final Battle via social media.
The Blackpool Combat Club, represented by Claudio Castagnoli, Bryan Danielson, and Jon Moxley, will face the team of Mark Briscoe and FTR in what is being billed a Fight Without Honor.
The match marks a return to Ring of Honor for all six men, with Danielson and Moxley making their return to the company for the first time since 2009 whereas Castagnoli was recently the ROH World Champion.
The match also comes just over a year after Mark Briscoe and his late brother Jay faced FTR in a Double Dog Collar Match for the ROH World Tag Team Championship.
As of time of writing, this is the updated lineup for ROH Final Battle:
- Fight Without Honor: Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Bryan Danielson, & Jon Moxley
- ROH Women’s World Championship: Athena defends against Billie Starkz
- I Quit Match: Tony Nese vs. “All Ego” Ethan Page
- Keith Lee vs. Shane Taylor
Note: A report from PWInsider has stated that Athena posted (and later deleted) confirmation on suffering a broken nose, but would still be at Final Battle.
Final Battle takes place Friday, December 15 from the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas, and airs exclusively on ROH HonorClub beginning at 7 pm Eastern.
