Following an announcement at a recent Exodus Pro show in Cleveland, the National Wrestling Alliance has released a press statement officially announcing the return of the territory system:
As part of the press release, the NWA has announced that NWA Exodus Pro Midwest is the first affiliate territory.
The promotion is run by current NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion EC3.
The announcement brings the NWA into an era it has not seen since 2017, when Corgan’s acquistion of the organization came with a massive restructuring that focused on a select number of championships.
The NWA at that time would also focus on partnerships such as Impact Wrestling, ROH, and more recently AAA.
The press release noted that NWA Samhain would kick off this new era, with the show taking place Saturday, October 28.
