Former WCW star and Lucha Underground color commentator Vampiro made a surprise appearance at the the end of the NWA Crockett Cup Night One on Saturday night. Both nights are held at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Annex in Winston-Salem, NC.
Night One was headlined by La Rebelión taking on Flip Gordon and Psycho Boy Fodder in a Tag Team Tournament Match. The match almost didn’t take place. However, as Fodder was reportedly dealing with an injury and his team did not come out for the start of the match. Flip confronted La Rebelión and insisted on facing them alone.
Fodder returned towards the end of the match. Vampiro appeared out of nowhere, assisting La Rebelión, to pick up the victory.
Post-Match, Vampiro gave a stare down to La Rebelión a walking up the ramp, leaving the fans, including the announce team, wondering why he was showed up.
