Bill Goldberg via Twitter late last night:
“By the way……… I’m back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It ain’t WWE, they can kiss my ass.”
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Goldberg cut a promotional video for an upcoming October wrestling event set to take place in the Congo being billed as the “Rumble in the Jungle II” in Kinshasa (the same location of the famous “Rumble in the Jungle I” between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman). This would be Goldberg’s first pro wrestling match since 2004 when he had been wrestling for the Hustle promotion, but was released when he refused to show for an event so he could film a role in “The Longest Yard” remake. A wide variety of former WWE stars (and some current TNA stars) like Kurt Angle, Matt Hardy, MVP, Dave Batista, Chris Jericho, Shawn Daivari, Shelton Benjamin and Ric Flair have been allegedly promoted for the event.
