According to a report by Deadline, actor Jeremy Allen White will play Kerry Von Erich in “The Iron Claw.” White will co-star in the film alongside Zac Efron, who will play Kevin Von Erich and Harris Dickinson, who will play the roll of David Von Erich.
White currently stars in the FX series “The Bear.” He also starred in Showtime’s “Shameless.”
“The Iron Claw” is being written and directed by Sean Durkin. A24 and Access Industries is co-financing the movee and A24 is producing the movie.
Durkin is best known for writing and directing “Martha Marcy May Marlene.”
“The Iron Claw” is based on the true story of the Von Erichs, and follows the rise and fall of the family of wrestlers who made a huge impact on professional wrestling from the 1960s to the present day.”
