The Georgia Gazette is reporting that former WCW star Marcus Alexander Bagwell was arrested this past Saturday in Cobb County, GA.
Bagwell was arrested for the following:
Driving Under the Influence of Drugs (misdemeanor), Open Container Violation (misdemeanor), Hit & Run – Duty of Driver to Stop at or Return to Scene of Accident (four charges, misdemeanors), Speeding (misdemeanor), Failure to Yield When Entering Intersection (misdemeanor), Giving False Name or Address or Birth Date to Law Enforcement Officer (misdemeanor), Following Too Closely (three charges), Reckless Driving (misdemeanor), Driving Within a Gore or Median or Emergency Lane (misdemeanor), Duty Upon Striking a Fixed Object (misdemeanor), Driving on the Wrong Side of the Roadway (misdemeanor), License To Be Carried & Exhibited On Demand (misdemeanor).
Cobb County, GA jail and police records show that Bagwell was arrested by the Cobb County Police Department at around 1:25 pm local time on Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Bells Ferry Road and Santa Fe Trail. Records also indicate the arrest took place near Bagwell’s in Woodstock, GA. He was booked into the jail at around 2:05 pm local time, and then bounded out at around 9:15 pm local time that same night.
Bagwell was injured in a traffic accident last August in Cobb County. The local authorities believed that Bagwell was impaired by prescription medication at the time of the accident.
