Jake “The Snake” Roberts announced his retirement from pro wrestling this past Saturday at a 2CW event in Watertown, NY reports PWInsider. Roberts defeated Zachary Springate and announced his retirement after the match. He said while he still loves pro wrestling, he can’t do it physically anymore and this would be his final match. While the words “retirement” and “wrestling” never seem to go together very much, almost everyone at the event believed it was a legitimate decision by Roberts. Roberts had announced earlier in the year that he planned to retire in 2010.
