ROH announces Flip Gordon signs new contract with the company, Gordon comments on new deal
During the today’s premiere episode of ROH Week By Week the promotion’s YouTube channel, it was announced that Flip Gordon has officially re-signed with Ring of Honor.
Gordon also took to Twitter (view below) to confirm that his new contract with ROH is a new multi-year deal.
At the ROH Free Enterprise event back in February, Gordon won a battle royal to earn a future shot at the ROH World Championship.
He was supposed to challenge RUSH for the ROH World Championship at Supercard of Honor in April. However, the event was canceled due to the (COVID-19) coronavirus pandemic.
Gordon and “The Villian” Marty Scurll were scheduled to challenge Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham for the ROH World Tag Team titles at the company’s 18th Anniversary pay-per-view in March. The PPV was also canceled.
Ring of Honor has canceled all shows through the end of June due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak.
The announcement of Gordon’s re-signing is just before the 8:00 mark on the episode. You can watch the entire episode above.
