The National Wrestling Alliance announced on Twitter Thursday that Marty Scurll is set to appear the tapings at the GPB Studios in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday, January 26.
The NWA also noted that limited tickets for the taping remain. You can view the Twitter post at the bottom of this report.
Current NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Aldis made a surprise appearance during last Saturday night’s ROH at Center Stage event in Atlanta. He did a run in disguised as a police officer attacking Villain Enterprises member Flip Gordon.
The attack on Gordon stems from when Aldis was confronted in a surprise appearance by Villain Enterprises Leader Marty Scurll at the NWA’s Into the Fire Pay-Per View last month.
Aldis, Kamille, and Thomas Latimer also showed up at ROH’s Honor Reigns Supreme event the next night. Flip Gordon and Brody King tried to get into it with Aldis and Latimer before security came out and broke it up.
We reported this week that as a result of Aldis’ attack on Flip Gordon, the NWA signed an inter-promotional match with Aldis squaring off against Gordon at the Hard Times PPV in Atlanta on Friday, January 24.
We also reported this week that Scurll signed a new deal with ROH which includes lead booker duties.
