Tonight’s episode of NWA Powerrr, the seventh to be featured on YouTube, was temporarily removed from the platform after an inappropriate comment.
During the broadcast, NWA commentator Jim Cornette made what many perceived to be an offensive comment during a match with Nick Aldis and Trevor Murdoch. Cornette said, “Trevor Murdoch is the only man that I’ve ever known that can strap a bucket of fried chicken on his back and ride a motor scooter across Ethiopia.”

NWA Vice President Dave Lagana soon put a post out on Twitter saying that “one of our talents made comments which some viewers found offensive.” Lagana said the episode would be temporarily taken down while the “error” was corrected.
While the talent in question or the comment was never addressed by Lagana, when the episode was uploaded again the Cornette comment was removed. As of this writing neither Cornette or the NWA have issued any further statements. We will follow this story as more becomes available.
