AEW confirmed on Twitter today that the finals of the AEW World Tag Team Championships tournament will take place on October 30 on week five of their television program on TNT.
The event will take place in Charleston, West Virginia from the Charleston Coliseum. It was announced yesterday that the semi-finals of the tournament would take place on week four in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Best Friends will take on The Dark Order at AEW All Out on August 31 in a match to determine which team will receive a first round bye in the tournament. The Young Bucks will take on Private Party (Marq Queen and Isiah Kennedy) in the first round of the tournament during the second television taping in Boston on October 9.
Also announced for the tapings are Jon Moxley wrestling in Pittsburgh and Chris Jericho wrestling in Charleston.
Tickets for the Pittsburgh and Charleston tapings go on sale this Friday, August 23.
